Based on Fib retracement, if BIG breaks the 0.90 resistance I think the $1.12 level will go quickly.

Ha ha, dear comrade, wat a facinating news on DES. In time to come, more such good news will be shining on ds baby. D coming result would definitely add on more colour liao.

But apa da, today's Zaobao, main page 04, one of d local heart related illness consultants  stressed that surgeon had over used of DES, esp those in private hosp,  instead of d half d px cheaper of Bare Metal Stent, BMS, and hv about d same reliability.

If China finally also following d footstep of France, really AK must say words which I never use in d forum, Huat Ahhhhhhhhh...... Cheers for sifus for their invaluable advice sometime ago, n d supporters.

My apologies - Just went to listen to the audio conference again.

THe 1.6Billion dollars valuation that the CEO was talking about was for a chinese company that has just been listed, in the same health-related sector as JWMS, and of a similar size.

So, the CEO is saying that if this chinese company can fetch this valuation, why not JWMS.

On another point, the CEO mentioned that the company is pursuing addtional STRATEGIC relationships to accelerate growth opportunites, and this specifically involves their strategy in the US mkt.

For info.

In the JP Morgan health conference, Biosensors' CEO Mike Kleine mentioned for the first time ever (they have never talk about Terumo's Japan contract), that if Terumo gets the approval to mkt the Bio-matrix in Japan, it will greatly enhance the profitability of Biosensors, and that the licencing will be for 5 yrs starting from the date of approval.

Also, He mentioned that the JWMS (JW Medical) in China, of which Biosensors owned 50 % is greatly undervalued, and that if they compare it to other listed chinese companies in China stock exchange, it is probably worth $1.6 billion (I think that I heard it as that figure - anybody has tuned into the audio conf, kindly verfiy this).

This figure is probably in US$, and if it is true, then it is worth about US$0.80 per share to Biosensors. (assuming that Biosensors has about 1 billion shares).

My own opinion is that JWMS has annualised net profit of US$30m per yr, and if you take a PE ratio of 30 times as reasonable, then JWMS is worth about US$900m, or about US$0.45 per share to Biosensors.

THe above are mere conjectures on my part - take it with a pinch of salt. FOr more accurate details, kindly go and listen to the video conference. at https://events.jpmorgan.com/

Not a call to buy/sell.

In the website CRTONLINE.org, there is a video showing Dr. Alexandre Abizaid being interviewed. THe topic of conversation was the Biosensors' polymer-free DES, called the bio-freedom. The 4-mth clinical results showed a late loss of 0.07, 0.17, and 0.38 for the bio-freedom, std dose, lower dose and taxus liberte control respectively. THe body language, positive tone of Dr. Alexandre on the results augurs well for this technology, and he mentioned about the 12-mths results, which will probably be released in May this yr, in EuroPCR. HE mentioned that the healing ( that is the formation of hperplasia on the stent) was very even, millimetre by millimetre. My interpretation of this interview, as well as the interview of Dr. Philip Urban (another video conf), is that the general trend and thinking of leading researchers, is that biodegradable polymer and no-polymer is the way forward, until such time that technology can produce a bio-degradable stent. It will be interesting to see, whether this trend in thinking among researchers filter down to the general DES practitioners, who generally are still using the durable polmyer based DES. (maybe because of the mkting power of the big players like Abbot, Medtronic, etc). For info. Not a call to buy/sell

It's time to test the resistance at $0.91. Biosensor is a good share to vest as it's in niche industry where not many competitors are around. When the market pick up, it'll cheong all the way.
