u dont teach ppl the wrong stuff lah, i'm always advised by others not to short/contra.

lol. i think i touched rogue's raw nerve. k la. sembcorp/sembmar wont lose money, but wont make u much money. u dont trust yourself meh? so kan chiong.

anyway, i'm only trading on my own money but not my own account. still doing my studies, after i grad in 2008/2009 i open ok?

 

give ur dealers/remisiers a call la, shorting oso require cash if you lost...

 

can u give my a shorting tutorial? i nv short b4, dont know how to short leh. but short is like gambling right? so far i only pay for my shares in cash.

onefour02. you can't compare like that. one bid for spc is = ard 2 1/4 bids for sembmar leh.. if u want to look at performance, then i might as well said i looking at price-to-yield.. one lot spc can buy ard 1 1/2 lots of sembmar.. then how to gauge? sembcorp aside (as i haven't do a further detailed study) but sembmar in terms of pricing and growth is more attractive to me in my own context... even doing industry analysis one must match an apple for an apple mah... since you said i wanna let others lose $$, then be it ba as nothing is impossible in the terms of stocks n shares.. as if i am the remisier "serving" all the forumeers here. whether they made or lose $$, i still earn my comm...

Better bet that I am lucky because I have bought SPC just like all of you! If I am unlucky, you know what will happen to the stock I pick...lol! I love to buy JD07 for JJ as it shows that I am lucky! ....SembCorp Ind...sad story lah. I was that idiot that held at precisely the recent peak $5.50 and it starts coming down to $4.8X after XD. I cut lost at $5.10, loose one lot oni, consider I lucky also lah, did not hood big big..lol! Now I only see it on my screen, dare not touch it, maybe I will revisit again later.
