Taking a 1 month break..... will be back in end of may.... bye... good luck...
May has been a negative month for STI in past 3 years.
Sell in May and go away likely to happen this year too. Seasonal weakness ahead. Careful guys.

Hot money flow in Asia again, buy signal
US Stocks turned green after initial losses. Dow recovered from 3-D red to 2-D green at the closing.
How would STI perform on Monday morning?   Think bullishness is coming.

Boston terrorist captured... as expected, it was actually a non event in terms of market impact.
World Markets - Friday. http://money.cnn.com/data/world_markets/asia/
Asian mkts finished broadly higher with shares in Hong Kong leading the region. The Hang Seng is up 2.33% while China's Shanghai Composite is up 2.14% and Japan's Nikkei 225 is up 0.73%.
China is still growing. Just not as rapid. Commodities will rebound strongly. All it takes is europe n usa to go back on track. We r off e worst. My own thoughts. Im always wrong

Economic recession does not necessarily mean bear market.
Red flags all over the place screaming china is not doing well.
Hard and soft commodities all in a bear market indicating poor demand.
Fake datas coming out from china musking poor underlying reality.
Days of exuberant spending spree in lafite, art , luxury goods and fastcars disappearing.
Record increase in liquidity losing effectiveness in propping in inefficient industries.
Bubble stage property prices and wide spread speculation in risky wealth mgmt products and bonds.
Eerie similarity to japan in run up to 1987   property bust.
We are possibly very near the start of a long awaited recession in china .Capitalism needs detox and cleasing of inefficient industries ,corruption money and restructuring of the economy from investment to consumption to work well. It will not be surprising to see diaoyu island conflict to be stirred up during the depts of the recession to divert attention away from the public. Possibly a preemptive move to safeguard territory integrity and mark the military prowress of china to the world during a hard landing.
I would avoid anything to do with property ,reits, banks, consumer stocks and commodities before any landing is over.
Cavet Emptor....

I've been waiting for you to say that for a very long time.. :)

Looks like we need a truck to load the durians already.
