Ausgroup Ltd - Record order book of A$500m
Maintain Outperform on Ausgroup with an unchanged target price of S$0.96, still based on 13x CY11 P/E (its average since listing). Ausgroup has been awarded a A$100m contract by BHP Billiton for fabrication and construction work for its Rapid Growth Project 5 (RGP 5) at Yandi, Western Australia. Work is expected to commence in Feb 10 and end in late 2010. We expect earnings to flow through in 4QFY10 and 1HFY11. The contract win falls within our expectations as we had earlier factored in order wins of A$400m for FY10. Ausgroup has secured A$200m of contracts in 5MFY10, forming 50% of our FY10 forecast. Our earnings estimates are unchanged. We expect stock catalysts from accelerated order wins and margin expansion.
buy on dip..
STI crossing 2,800 soon..
sell on rally..
this is too much profit taking... need a a thousand million dollar contract to boost i think... yesterday big contract 100 million also cant push the price up
BB may be buying up more. Should be crossing 0.7 soon.
Expecting more contract to come after the 100million contract announed yesterday.
Vest and good luck
oh my.. i din mean any harm.. and i dun mean that even if it trends downwards, it can hit .14 tmr.. maybe i misinterpreted you.. -peace eh!-

Bullish breakout suggests more upside potential
Key resistance overcame. Ausgroup is likely to see further upside potential after breaking strongly above both its $0.64 key support-turned-resistance and 100-day moving average on heavy volume yesterday.
Initial resistance at $0.770. On the upside, we peg the initial resistance at $0.77 (minor peaks in Aug and Sep ‘09), breaking which, we see the next resistance at $0.945 (May ’08 peak).

Bullish breakout suggests more upside potential
Key resistance overcame. Ausgroup is likely to see further upside potential after breaking strongly above both its $0.64 key support-turned-resistance and 100-day moving average on heavy volume yesterday.
Indicators have turned bullish. With the RSI rising above the 50% mark and the MACD indicator having initiated a strong bullish crossover yesterday, they suggest that the bullish momentum is building up significantly.
Initial resistance at $0.770. On the upside, we peg the initial resistance at $0.77 (minor peaks in Aug and Sep ‘09), breaking which, we see the next resistance at $0.945 (May ’08 peak).
Immediate support at $0.640. Meanwhile, key $0.64 becomes the immediate support, ahead of $0.565 (minor troughs in Aug ‘09) and $0.445 (troughs in May and Jul ‘09).

so sometimes it's good to look at the vol of trades and at what price to determine ur buy/sell..
BBs may know the contract announcement dates and predicted that ausgrp would have gotten it.. so i guess tt's how it all works..

with the Aus$ strengthening and the co. bidding and clinching more contracts (with the indirect effects on probable rising oil prices until an alternative is firmly established), my view is that the px shldn't head south in the mid to long term.. short term will depend on market sentiments.. just my view..
Frankly, brokers are brokers, they are not fortune tellers. We must use our own fact findings.
