I dont know this stock... or at least not as well as the Seniors here might know it.

I only know the fundamentals. I only know it's not going too well..

But I'm holding long and holding on.. why?

  Because I'm young... and can wait a long long long time for it to bounce back and a long long time for China's economy to get it's act together!

And if I lose it all, well.. it's just a reckless lesson... and something to learn from.. !

Either way.. HUAT ARH!

I know this stock damn well. I dont want say but its pretty running on near empty contracts and theres so less news comming out.The worst scenario can be opening the new expansion plants but no contracts. RUN FIRST BUY LATER

Stock markets move up and down according to crowd movements, and sometimes queerly contrary to crowd movements. The reason for movements are mostly speculation on the future profitability or non profitability, mainly told in news reports truthfully or dishonestly, of a stock or stocks as a whole.  In an upward move even some bad stocks could be influenced to move up and likewise it also happens that in a downward move some good stocks could be influenced to move down together with the whole market.  Some gurus advise that to make money in stock markets, you must buy profitable companies or turnaround companies the latter of which are currently making losses but are expected to return to profits. True or false? This depends on perception.  Hehehe.

Dec 5 (Reuters) - Kim Eng Securities has downgraded its rating for Singapore-listed Midas Holdings Ltd, which makes aluminium components for trains, to sell from hold and cut its target price to S$0.30 from S$0.44.

it expects Midas' earnings to remain poor for next few quarters, hurt by uncertainty in China's rail industry following the dismissal of the former head of the  Ministry of Railways and recent accident investigations.

Midas reported has mth its 3rd-quarter net profit fell 59.8% to 27.4 million yuan, hurt by rising production costs. The brokerage has cut its 2011-2012 earnings estimates by 30% to account for slower execution on its orders.

With no new orders in sight, Midas will also be affected for at least next  3 quarters as its main customer, Chinese state-owned train manufacturer CNR, delivers fewer trains to the  Ministry of Railways, Kim Eng said.

 

for your information, the last AGM, was told that there won't be any more plant built in near future, the lastest one was built in the centre of china to be able to cater to various provinces need.........logistic plan
