I like the optimism here. But the share price will likely go into freefall on Mon and Tues.

Relax, according to analyst , the most is refinance at high rates, so DPU around 4 cts per yr

Even if abosrbed by F& N , at least 0.42 cts per share

They won't want it to fail as very messy, also reputation not so good

If absorbed, people who buy at IPO or higher prices feel cheated, also no good to them

But today also read in the paper,,,this one got the support of F&N...so afterall i think it not so easy for it to fall....can bet a little here..but as again the amount is hugh..but i dont think the bank want it to fail either and get less for the loan....maybe with the solid F&N behind..

this one can be like unto AIG...too big to fail...buy cheap and  sell 1.0...if the refinance is thro...most likely...buy...DYODD

But some of the reit may go under.during this crises.....so do see their financial first before we buy..

SINGAPORE: The ability of Fraser Commercial Trust to continue as a going concern depends on it being able to successfully refinance some S$550 million of loan notes.

Auditor KPMG raised this concern in the trust's 2008 financial statements.

S$400 million worth of these notes mature at the end of July this year, while the remaining S$150 million mature at the end of December.

The manager of the trust said it is negotiating the terms and conditions with financial institutions to refinance these notes.

It will make further announcements at the appropriate time. - 938LIVE/vm

i hope you are not offended...read in teletext tonite...this counter 550m for refinancing is facing problem...pls read yourself..

virtually all reit are gear to the teeth...for now Cambridge, CapitalM..are safe, but what if the crises really last till 2011...they will be in trouble...

be alert, cut if necessary..DYODD

going forward,,,i think we should keep off property and reit ...

take a look at commodities, energy and resource stock...
