Is it time to enter now?

The way SC is bleeding, the waters they cruise will be coloured red? According to teeth53, some investors may not live to see it recover?  Then die, lah?

 

SC shd be nursed back to health (will it be just as fast as the dip?) by the operators?

Will take longer then one can expecting co's SC is still lossing alot of money and Gen't not impressive (profit slowing down), can't alway give $$$ to son or bro/sis all the time, also Gen't has taken in too much too good food, which will lead to bloating....

Never the less along with regional fall yesterday, it tested positive to 0.80c and SC to US$0.295c for today.  

 

Time for SC to cheong coz' the 2nd IR will be built by GIL/SC after all.  Financing shd not be a problem coz'  banks are ever ready to lend them the money.  SH investment in SC shd never have been interpreted as a means for SC to finance its 25% share of the joint venture - the mkt could have mistaken the intention, causing SC to dip when its future remains as bright as ever.   

 

Time to return to 30 cents ....

 

This is an impassioned appeal - pse buy within your means , NOT for contra play, or else you will fall into the hands of short sellers when payment is due.  Unless there is a positive uptrend, it's senseless to try and play contra, coz' the ultimate winners will be the short sellers who will also sell down as the contra players sell down to  take profit.. 

 

The prayer of all vested has been answered.  GIL/SC  will  build the 2nd  IR after all. With the restructuring of SH's investment in SC, SC shd be nursed back to health (will it be just as fast as the dip?) by the operators?   

 

In case thing don turn out right, check ur average prices, next prices should be in the region of <US$0.20c



News on signing contract to built IR Sentosa Resort World from Gen't will be good news after all this fall, anything down must goes up, expecting SC px to revisit US$0.30c

SUITABILITY REQUIREMENTS UNDER THE CASINO CONTROL ACT

Regulation Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs yesterday.

experience operating casinos in other similar jurisdictions, understands fully the necessity and
requirements of thorough suitability checks on casino operators, that this is an on-going process
and will continue even after a licence has been issued.
GIPLC is fully committed to ensure the success of Resorts World at Sentosa (?RWS?) and that
RWS meets the suitability requirements of the authorities for a casino licence.
Following the timeframe spelt out in the Request for Proposal for the Sentosa integrated resort,
RWS will apply for the casino licence only when the development is substantially completed and
ready to receive visitors, and at least half of the committed investment has been expended.

A well-written posting.   Even the SC syndicates assumed wrongly that the 2nd IR would be taken away from GIL/SC. Foolish or childish thinking?  How can it ever happen when the S'pore  Govt had  OPENLY  REJECTED the other two proposals?  It was just a matter of Min of Home Affairs seeking clarification about the SH and other parties investing in SC , NOT in the 2nd IR.    

There shd not be any conflict of interest as SC can ferry well-heeld tourists even from China to the 2nd IR (According to its latest fin report, it has started mkting its cruise biz to the China mkt, which is such a big one.  The profit for SC shd improve for the lst quarter of 2007)

Sometimes, I just wonder if Genting and Star Cruises both are interested in gambling business activity carried on Sentosa? It will do no good to both of them as conflict of interest to its own gambling business activity carried out at Genting! Hence, getting a gambling activity on Star Cruises board will boost the gambling business much more worth while! There are huge customer based from Macau and later on from Singapore, Malaysia and Asean region as a whole. So at the present price, it is really early worth buying just for a very very bright future prospect of Genting and Star Cruises, though I much prefer Star Cruises to Genting!!!

 

Extracted from "Today" 28 Feb . GIl is due to sign the Development Agreement with Sentosa Development Corpn on 1 March"   The signing of the development agreement allows GIL and SCL to proceed with the construction of the IR. However,it does not automatically qualify GIL-SCL for the casino licence. "We have requested the necessary corporate and personal histroy disclosure forms be compleed and submitted by the parties concerned",  said Min of Home Affairs. 
Following probes by the MHA, SC would be "reviewing" the deal structure with SH.  
That the IR remains in the hands of GIL/SC  is now a fact.  Cheers to those vested in SC - shd be nursed back to health soon by  the operators

Short sellers being "moved up" today?  May be Hulumas has foresight that SC will move up soon coz' it has  been moving down for so many days, unlike other shares which have been moving up  for so many days?

You are right, I got 50 lots at Usd. 0.27 just now. My sixth stage money cost averaging will be at about Usd. 0.23. This time I place 100 lots in one go.

 

Those who panic sell will regret as no more 24.5cents to buy back.....It is bottom out from 24.5cents......

The report from SC is due today and signing of IR agreement for GIL is due on tomorrow 1 Mar 07........

Be patients.....once the agreement is signed GIL will take further action against SH in order to get the C. licence....

U can't buy at 29ct even if U wish, heaven is on ur side knowing U r v.rich unlike ppl like me. U can buy at 27c, better still U can buy at 25cts now, ,then at 20c. A real possibilities.

For SC, Blood bath I dont mind lah as long as the cruises are still floating.  :p Not my stock criteria to be vested in but mebbie to just punt. : )

sarahlkh, SC operates one of the ship called Star Virgo and other smaller vessels in SEA and Oceanic. Up to xx% of those frequent weekend customers who goes to cruise to nowhere are using their 'points' awarded to them when they 'invest' in their games. A very small percentage of them are paying customers.  'Incomes' from just Star Virgo itself mainly derived from those games.  I heard from the junkets that each weekend takings can amount up to +/- 1 - 2 millions SGD.  If you think along that line, I think you will get the idea where the main income is generated from.  I cant wait for Friday again. :)
