Senate Democrats met with Obama for 75 minutes Saturday afternoon. Democratic leadership aide said the party is unified.
" Democrats are willing to negotiate on anything Republicans want to discuss as soon as we reopen the govt and pay our bills." Another Democratic source said party leaders regard Republicans as lacking a coherent position. They hope........

Mr President. Do not blame anyone else when thing start falling apart....Except.
(Mr President famous word. " I will not negotiate" ...in action)
" It doesn't seem like the White House is serious at all about entering negotiations with us"
until they see what comes out of the Senate.

On Friday, Obama spoke by phone to a group of about 150 leaders of major businesses to give them an update on talks with Congress on lifting the debt ceiling ahead of a default deadline next week, the White House said. Next..???.
Obama also spoke with a grp of 25 state governors about the govt shutdown, now in its 11th day, and its impact on state budgets and the economy.
teeth53 thot - So free as to??......talk talk n talk on NO DEAL????.

Congress and the president have taken their sweet time trying to agree to terms for reopening the govt, but not only are they still on the job, they're getting paid! What kind of punishment is that? Where's the deterrent there?
(Read more: White House sees progress on debt ceiling, shutdown)
So if we can't fire them, and we can't stop paying them, how can we punish those running the show before the next election rolls around?
Some suggestions: Mandatory prancercising. Nonstop. Have them answer their own phones during voter drunk dialing.
teeth53 thot - How potential deal it can be??.
As both side are still far from face-saving deal compromise in what a potential deal might look likw.
> Temporary extension to U.S. borrowing thru..end of Jan and or until Nov next year. White hse, however might demand a longer extension.
> Authorise a stopgap measure tat finance govt thru.. end of March.
> The hse n senate would setup bipartisan committee to being negotiation on budget, rein in spending, reform social programmes n some aspect on tax code.
> Delaying n easing tax on medical devices that is part of health-care law widely opposed by Republicians lawmakers.
AFP, New York Times.
Final answer. Will Obama eat his own word??> or play a major part for been the first U.S. elected President bringing U.S into a real recession period..???. happening (NO deal so far) in Washington.
Is history going to record that....n archive it
