This one has been gapping up and then gapping down like nobody's business in the 2 months...

Not a good counter to play...
Oh my, I finally understood what you mean after doing some careful reading about the rights issue. Please correct if I'm wrong, assuming I'm currently holding on to 50 lots of aztech shares => I'm allocated 10 lots of rights shares . If I had subscribed to 10 lots of rights at 12.5cents, I should be getting another 10 lots of aztech mother shares plus 10 lots of aztech warrants.
Therefore, if I sold away my 10 lots of provisional rights previously, I won't be getting the additional 10 lots of mother share. So why the prices dropped so much today is due to the new mother shares issued at 12.5cents. Am I right? Thanks in advance!

Today those who exercise their RIGHTS got their share converted to mother shares. Remember exercise price was 12.5 cents,,, so some people happy enough to let go and get the differences from 12.5cents, especially those who got excess rights at 12.5cents

Sorry for my ignorance because I'm very novice at this.
From my understanding (maybe wrong), to purchase 1 right with 1 warrant = 12.5cents. To convert the 1 warrant to 1 mother share = 20cents. Therefore, if anyone converted the 1 warrant to 1 mother share would have acutally mean 1 mother share = 12.5 + 20 = 32.5cents. To me it doesn't make sense for anyone who have gotten their rights with warrants to convert their warrants to the mother share because of the current price right now. Or maybe I misunderstood what you were trying to explain?
The 81,272,000 Warrants will be listed for quotation on the Main Board of the SGX-ST on 26 November 2009 and
trading of the Warrants will commence with effect from 9.00 a.m. on the same date.
Today those who exercise their RIGHTS got their share converted to mother shares.

Window for trading of Rights begins today.......3 - 11 Nov. Those who do not want to subscribe to the Rts will have this window to unload it and it will affect price of mother share. Current Rts trading at 13.0c.

bruising day for aztech
Yes, theoretically warr will be worth 6c .....based on today's close....zero premium/discount.

So the wrt price will be stock pr minus money paid for converting wrt to share, i.e based on today's price, the wrt will worth sligthly less than 26c-20c =6c.

LCM,
Yes, when warr is credited (if you subscribe to rts), you can sell.......but price will largely depend on mother share price at that time and market sentiments. The 12.5c price for the warr I calculated earlier is just a theoretical price based on yesterday's close of 32.5c and on the assumption of zero premium and zero discount. But, in reality, mkt usually places a premium/disc to the warr. |

Means so now I just have to wait for them to send me the documents to subscribe and pay for the rights share?
Rts was announce on 24th Sept after market closed. The next day, price gapped up from 28c to 34.5c.
Assume calculation based on 5 lots just be xr.
5x315(closing price) = $1575, + $125 (right share) + $200 (assuming converting the warrant) = total cost $$1900 for 7 lots equivalent to $1900/7=$271.43, i.e 27.5 c per share, anything below 27.5c is considered cheaper at xr.
Anyone can kindly explain how this rights and warrants works? Let's say i am currently holding 50 lots bought few days back. So do i still need to pay for the rights share @ $0.125? or do i get it for free since i am an existing shareholder
Volume is low, good results and Div, no big players coming in, no price movement, may be next few days, hopefully. Vested.
wow another set of goood report......yes......
