Thanks, won some ñ lost some. Just that for those I lost, I am glad that I do not follow into another hole.
I know what I will be posting is going to garner dislike again. You claim your style is fundamental as from your profile details. Do you vest your money on a stock just because analysts say so or do you even bother to verify? And analysts give a target price based not just on fundamentals, but also on market performance and a longer time horizon.
From all your previous rantings in this thread, you sound like you might have lost a lot over the years. If this is true, I can almost figure out why this is so. You do not seem like you have a clear investment strategy and it seems like you also expect quick results/profits. Furthermore, your emotions seem to be affected strongly by the price movement of stocks you vested in, which is very dangerous in the stock market.
For the benefit of yourself so that you can grow your money starting from now, figure out your style of investing and investment strategy, as well as also your time horizon for putting your money in stocks. Also figure out what are some course of actions to take when there is a particular indicator or trend that's going to affect the price movement. Whether you are speculating, gambling, trading or investing, etc..., always be sure why you even buy a stock in the first place. Last but not least, learn to keep your emotions in check so you can always act in your best interests. :)

VARD SECURES CONTRACT FOR ONE AZIMUTH STERN DRIVE OFFSHORE
TUG VESSEL
Singapore, 30 April 2013 – Vard Holdings Limited (“VARD”),
one of the major global designers and shipbuilders of offshore and specialized
vessels, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a contract with Buksér
og Berging for the construction of one Azimuth Stern Drive (ASD) offshore tug
vessel.
The vessel is scheduled for delivery in Q1-2015 from Vard
Braila in Romania. The vessel has
been developed by Buksér og Berging, and will have a length
of 42.5 meters with a beam of
15 meters and a bollard pull of approximately 115 tons.
Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of VARD, Roy
Reite, said, “We welcome our new customer Buksér og Berging to VARD, and we
look forward to cooperating with their team. Our shipyard in Braila has a long
shipbuilding tradition going back many decades. Building on this experience,
certain types of vessels are being delivered fully outfitted from Vard Braila. The
yard has delivered several tugs during the last few years, and our team in
Braila is proud to have secured the new contract for Buksér og Berging.”
Buksér og Berging is a market leader in providing
specialized towage vessels for the marine, oil and gas industries. The
Norwegian based company aims to have a modern fleet ranging from AHTS to
harbour tugs in order to provide marine services within ports and terminals,
ocean towage, offshore work and complex marine operations. Buksér og Berging
has 30 vessels in operation.
To all vested in Vard (i still prefer STXOSV) and still determined to hold on (like me), we will SURVIVE!!! haha..

Undue sell-down. We believe that recent weakness in share price is partly due to consensus cutting overly optimistic FY13F numbers and valuations due to margin concerns. We had initiated coverage with the lowest FY13F earnings estimate, forecasting an 11% dip and were well aware of the risks.
Brazil yard issues a drag on group margins. In our view, the market has underestimated potential margin pressures from Brazil yard for FY13F and is now/would be realigning their forecasts. There are 4 vessels in Niteroi yard in Brazil facing delays, which would lead to additional costs. These contracts are not expected to be profitable and would bring down overall margins. We had already forecasted for a dip in margins for FY13F but we believe that with efficiency enhancements, higher utilisation and resolution of problems in Brazil yard would lead to an eventual margin recovery in FY14F.
Room for upside surprise in contract wins. However, we believe that the strength of recovery from returning orders this year could surprise positively. Vard views market expectations for new contract wins (NOK10-11b) as overly pessimistic. It is confident to bring in close to NOK12b in new orders for FY13F, but contributions from new contracts would mostly be seen in its financials from FY14F onwards. We believe that there is room for upside to order-win estimates and would keep an eye on its contract win momentum this year.
A more supportive owner. According to Vard, Fincantieri looks to be a better fit for Vard given cultural similarities and their greater enthusiasm to grow the company as compared to the previous owner. Meanwhile Vard’s management is intact and dividend policy is kept at a minimum of 30% payout (we assumed 40% in our model).
