this little gem has been manipulated so much as there is not much liquidity in the market.

time to realize its value. board already declare dividend of 0.18 rmb per share after tax.

Dividend yield is around 5%. Still trades at a huge discount compared to mother stock in Shanghai.

Hope a white horse comes just like Sihuan Pharma and delist it and bring it back to China/HK to list with higher valuations

TP: $0.90

does anyone know why tianjin is trading at USD 0.755 in singapore whereas its mother share in china is trading at RMB 13.27 which is roughly USD 2 per share.

China shares value is 265% more than singapore side and they have declared dividend of RM 0.18 after tax per share.

any expert views?

not sure about other S-chips.. but tianjin does not have much shares in singapore market. 200 million or so..

many funds holding on to it as it is trading at 60% discount to tianjin zhongxin in shanghai.

not a call to buy/hold/sell.... trade at your own risk. to me it is a rather easy play because of its value in shanghai

Illiquidity is the main problem for almost all China related stock (S-chips) in SGX market! Why?

Tianjin has pulled back from 0.955 high on the 21 dec to 0.865 today 18 jan. 9.4% pull back. 4500 lots traded between this period. relatively small volume. weak long holders are not able to hold this gem as looking for contra gains. china tightening policy has an impact on most stocks across the industry. pharma should be the safest bet in the next 6 months. beware of banks.

10 days of trading, 2 weeks of trading in a narrow band of 0.89 to 0.915... should break out very very soon...

short term price = 0.95

long term price = 1.20

cheers

singapore side only has 200 million shares outstanding. if you look at the volume for the past 3-4 months, nothing much. seems that some funds or big investor is accumulating this share.... anyone knows the breakdown of the 200 million shares.. this 2010 tianjin zhongxin will surely make good profit, if it gives out dividends, singapore side will also get... 1 share in singapore = 1 share in shanghai... that is why i think it is highly under valued in singapore. even at $1 still too cheap... cos valuation in singapore is different.over the next 1 month till before CNY we should see rather solid consolidation of tianjin above $0.90 waiting for good news from china side.... cheers. stay vested.

despite china side dropping from 17rmb to 14rmb. almost 17% drop in price. singapore side is still holding

meaning it has value.... now just hold on to tianjin and see whether got some big fund buy it up or decision to bring the shares to HK or back to shanghai to list....

hopefully will be a big chinese new year hongbao

TianjinZ  could not break new high n came down gradually , it may pull back to make a correction before going up again . The strong support is at  85 cents now if  it  goes  below the Bollinger band at 89.5 cents . Time to set the stop loss protection .

If it could not hit new high with heavy volume , then the top formation would form .
