In world of gambling,

in order to wipe out punters....the market / result usually have a trend.

For eg:

bakarat , some pple staunchly bet banker/ player....either or result have to swing one way to wipe out.

roulette, red or black , odd or even,

football, total goal big means whole night result is big, wipe out clean clean 

stock market, bull or bear...each will have their turn to be killed, and when a bull/ bear time is up,

there is no way to rescue until most are slaughtered

Thus I have respect how to respect the " WIND" AKA TREND

Speculation is not ideal, really. We should invest and not speculate, meaning we should accord a right value to a share and put money in it with a time to exit with the returns.  But so many times, the market players will play the share prices up or down in anticipation of the future of the company based on small streams of news here or there. By doing so, they usually put wrong perspectives on the performance of the company, such as overly discounting a share worth or providing too much premium for it. This therefore distort a person's views of the investment he puts in.  But it gives opportunity for people who bets, so it is a very difficult to say which is good and which is bad. Lol..

In the early days, I used to see brokers who are also players themselves,

      routinely bet " sa ba liap" (300 lots) of SIA... 

 

If Genting break 1.75.

Until 2011 4Q result out, Genting is a Bet and Bet big.
