Proposed Consolidation 5 to 1 !!!
The Proposed Unit Consolidation involves the consolidation of every five existing units in FCOT ("Units1") held by unitholders of FCOT ("Unitholders") as at a books closure date to be determined by the Manager (the "Books Closure Date", and the existing Units held as at the Books Closure Date, the "Existing Units") into one Unit (the "Consolidated Unit"). The number of Consolidated Units which Unitholders will be entitled to, based on their holdings of Existing Units as at the Books Closure Date, will be rounded down to the nearest whole Consolidated Unit and any fractions of Consolidated Units arising from the Proposed Unit Consolidation will be disregarded. Each Consolidated Unit will rank pari passu with each other.

SGD 0.000143 TAX + SGD 0.000656 + SGD 0.00475 LESS TAX = 0.005549 = per share

So example for this case, when can I know how much CD I can get, and when i can receive.
When CD = Cum Dividend.. U will get the dividend when u buy the stock
When XD = Exclude Dividend.. U will not get the dividend when u buy the stock..
If u sell ur stock away during XD.. means u will get the dividend..

Can someone kind enough to teach me about XD (Ex-dividend) & CD (Cum dividend)?
I saw 1 post in other forum mentioning that once XD, the price will be dropped.
Is it true?
What is the difference and impact for XD & CD??
For Fraserscomm, now is XD, so before XD, I already bought the shares..so when can I expect them to pay me the dividend?
If I were to sell out the shares now before the dividend, means I will not get the dividend?

Very good stock for me. Sit there make 7.5% interest, need money can sell immediately with profit.

A good set of results, better than other reits' results out so far. Yield for the year improves by 31% (some major reits hardly increase while others decrease). At current price it is 6.8%. No major loan repayment for 2011. Stable property income, only 11% due for renewal. Read all in SGX website and make your own decisions.
