SGX already said that S-Chip is here to stay - like it or not. In fact, they will try to attract more to list here but with some "quality" improvement. Current price for many actually offers H risk but also H return kind of trade/investment, so do choose wisely. However, there's no safe heaven even for our blue chip companies, still remember SM? What about those Tamasick links whom call cash at way below market value recently?
If u believe in China growth, then u should also believe in the potential of s-chips.
Once they clean up their dirty act, they will in time to come no long branded as "scam chips" but instead, let me be the 1st to coin the term "super chips".
The smart savvy trader are the ones to make big money as they dare to tred where everyone fears & exit when the masses realised its worth & the herd instinct chases it & becomes "hot potatoes".

Despite any bad news, I build more in my stock portfolio with S-chips of about 88%. To me is my best accumulating opportunity while the S-chips bitten down by the exaggerated market bad news/sentiment.

Number of S-chips in serious problems with auditors
Those without also has irreglarities,
For the rest o.k or rally or whatever , the prices are way too down to a few cents even !
I have learn something from older Spore investors
Spoken to some of them and they avoid the S- chips like the plague

Clarification , not trying to brand ALL S-chips as black cats for sure .
Sure some S-chips are good.
However current percentage of bad ones is quite high during this period so much that SGX has to admit the risk posed by them and also this was express to the China authorities to seek co-operation
Dun paint with one stroke of the brush tat all S-sheeps are black just bcos of a handful of black S-sheeps, there are bound to be a handful of other good S-sheeps.
As Deng Xiao Ping once said: "Dun care whether it is black cat or white cat, so long as can catch the mouse is good cat", so dun brand all S-chips as black cats as I'm sure there are good cat among the S-chips.

Actually, a many pple make money out of S stocks.....I have played Eucon, Zhonghui, SinoTFribe, Synear, SunEast, Kingboard Cu, Unifood and make money....except SunEast and Synear.
SunEast, I break the game rule.....Stock must pay div. and SunEast never pay a cent !!!! And I am punished with Losses....Big ones....
Synear lost some small money.
Recently, bought some unifood again @ 3.5cts using profits from other counters.....I only make more profits or no profit lor......This is how I play S stocks...

This problem is not unforeseen. Blame money as the necessary evil - so many financial institutions/people benefited when these s-chips were courted...translate to high salaries/bonus for those benefiting from the spillovers..
I have long said don't buy China plays

SGX should return all investor purchase price of S chip, they bring in the stock n did not monitor their activity until its too late.hey u cant just collect commission and take no responsibility for your product.
