must oppose the consolidation.
MemstarT was a reversed takeover case and went thru consolidation. It was trading at 1.5cents per share before 10-1 consolidation. After consolidation, the trading price was 15cents, but after a few days, it went to 5cents and remain stagnant there. MemstarT is a much better companuy with better prospect but just can't move.
SO, MUST OPPOSE THE CONSOLIDATION. The share price will just go south!

NTA = 0.22 cts. After consolidation will be 50cts from current 0.5 cts.
There are a few case study around and one of them is PSC Corp. It was about 50+ cents after consolidation (5 -> 1) . Now it is 29.5cts.
I think it will move toward 20cts range when consolidated. This will bypass the half cent rule. The cheap will get cheaper.
Like what BT columnist once said : Good Company sell debts, OK company issue C-Bond, Bad company issue more shares....
It may implied that potential investor is not willing to pay at 0.5cts/share, so need to consolidate to look more attractive. Next move will probably issue more shares at your expenses. 149M float share is deem too low in Spore Context. A typical small listed company is about 400M share.

based on the information given , we do have the right to Vote NO leh ... i think the staff really sucks , gives wrong information ,.... WE WILL ALL ATTEND ... the EGM !!!

vote "NO" to it... see Menstar 10 to 1 and from 25 cents to 6 cents... we muct change the director which is no protecting shareholder's interest
I think we must gather together to ask for an explainnation on why the consolidation is 100 to 1. It downright absurd to have this kind of proposal. I think we need to propose better candidates to run the company. It looks like the current board of directors are not working towards the benefit of the shareholders. When is the EGM date??? Must query the Bosses

Yup, consolidation may not be a good thing especially in such market. My personal experience with counters such as PSC, Japan Land, Jasper....
Yes, better to vote against consolidation! Look at the performance the past few months, it's still hovering at 0.5cts even with some positive announcements.
May be worst off if consolidate @ 0.5/ share & will likely to drop if sentiment is no good. Can't imagine the consequences of losses will be in 5 or 10cts/share.
At least you can take comfort now that the value is 0.5ct & can't drop further if sentiment is no good & your losses remain within 0.5 or 1 cs/share depending on your purchase.

You can still cut your losses if you want to now; at least got people queing to buy... and you will just need to pay some broker's fees only. Just my view.
