Hi tenzin, pls allow me to share my points of view why I like C'spring.
1) Good dividend-yields due to its ability to buy into good infrastructure assets that participate in Asia booming infrastructutre spending (about US$250bn over the next few years according to World Bank).
2) It has got Temasek's support and therefore funding is not an issue.
3) Its growth strategy is by acquiring active mgmt and good portfolio Managers.
4) Good quality assets in City Gas and Singspring.
5) Singspring has fixed cashflows till 2025 after which only it may have to compete with other sources for water supply.
The down sides is the rise of int rates or Bond Yields which could have some impacts on dividends and values.
Of course, last but not least buy at your own risk! Cheers!
Quite familier this counter. It listed on 12 Feb 07 at 0.89 a piece. I remember I got few lots during IPO and sold away when listed around 1 plus. Peak at 1.62 on 27 Apr 07. Tamasick got hands on it. Coy focus will be in Asia, M East, NZ and Aussie.
Before I invested - I read the sgx reports :
Basslink has potential to increase the DPU much further
I prepare to buy 100 lots if fall below 0.70 again !!
Many peopel already see Cityspring potential at this price
