Singapore Military Procures BullsEye

By WENDELL MINNICK
Published: 18 Feb 2011 05:29
TAIPEI - Singapore's Ministry of Defense will procure the next-generation Super BullsEye II Advanced Weapons Scoring System built by Singapore-based Stratech Systems Limited for $1.14 million. Stratech made the announcement on Feb. 16.

" This contract covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of an integrated bomb and gunnery scoring system," Stratech officials said.

The BullsEye II is an advanced weapons scoring system that fully automates the scoring, recording and management of firing results in weapons training and defense exercises. The system can be used for the army, navy or air force and is configurable for different terrains.

" Stratech has been in the forefront of advanced technologies," said David K.M. Chew, executive chairman. The company is principally engaged in the design, development, integration, implementation, maintenance and project management of information technology and advanced technology systems.

BullsEye is powered by Stratech's proprietary Intelligence Vision technologies, which is a " proven product that has been deployed and currently used by air forces and navies from several countries," according to a company press release. " The automated scoring system is capable of accurately scoring weapons impact day or night for air, sea and land forces and weapons development agencies."

In August 2009, the company sold the BullsEye II system to South Korea.

Valued at $1.46 million, this contract covers the supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of an integrated bomb and gunnery scoring system.

The Super BullsEye II Advanced Weapons Scoring System is powered by Stratech’s proprietary Intelligent Vision technologies. Come on man, don't mislead other with such info.

Its was years since its at 3 to 4 cents..

The highest it hit when being played by BB is around 10.5 cents.

Italways annouces contract but never negerate interest............. they have  Air port safety projects...even wins project of US Army. It just be a high security cleared form then could get contract from the US Air Force..

But the 4 cents market value already taken all those into considerations...

Such company need very high cost to operate.... need to generate BIG BIG revenues then make little profits..

Amazing fact is that its a bout Technology.. and technology are known to increase productivity.

IE. Minimum  expenses, maximum gain but they are opposite, Can make 100 Million dolar revnue but profits is just 4 million ? Just example... the the true figure but the true fact.

A lot of complany are like that...

DMX is another one...100 over millions revnue  from  lots of projects...profit..like US 9 million whole year ?

Read their report to know the exact revenue vesus Profit ratio..

A company that needs to generate high revenue just to break even, when hitting bad times is under the water one even if you make revenue of 100 million ...

The Bankrupted AKIRA parent conpany  TT INTNL....

Can  make revenue of almost 1 Billion...yet still may be in the RED one...

800+ million revenues..still making looooses... in 100 of millions...those figure one...

A lot of compnies are like that one.... hardly break even after taking away running overheads..

Just collect enough to pay next due rental and pay salary..almost all gone and repeat for years...

Such companies enjoys being listed- because if worst case- issue right la... or issue bonds... to offer cheap new share when mature.. or don't care 3 years later than talk about it.. past one cycle then worry fore the next one... ist like think about this mopnth survival firstthen when alive" talk about next month how..

I am sure many of you know what I meant...

If a company is making consistant profits and forsee that it don need public funds  again.... why listed ? Buy share back at low value and delist la... like  some companies does... then when cannot make money..again u see them form another company get listed again... either change name list on same Exchange.. or list elsewhere where its main business is like China(HongKong) or  Taiwan.............. the come good times...volunteer delist.. go private... then repeat... :)

Just speaking out my mind... from what i observed.... don't  take all my words ars truth as its not meant to be for reference. nor accurate..... do your own judgement..:)

if worse to worse, the company can still sell off its office space at Jurong East... it has got some lawsuits here and there affecting earnings visibility but more worrying is how is the company able to grow its revenue by securing contracts from other than the Singapore government

In the early 1990s, the Company became a systems integrator and developer, mainly making use of third party technologies and products to undertake large-scale IT projects. Later, the Company developed its own technologies and ventured into computer vision and intelligent transport systems.

Since 1996, the Company has evolved into a systems and technology developer for e-business IT projects. Some of these projects were a passenger information kiosk system for the Hong Kong airport and a medical claims proration system for the Singapore Civil Service. The Company has developed an online Certificate of Entitlement open bidding system for the Land Transport Authority.
