When one is already developed into an advanced trader, one's view of basic things will change...

This is normal and can be expected....

But that doesn't make the product less appealing to the less advanced!!!... Smiley

hahaha !

Looks like I am done for !

I am not an expert of any sort nor am I an experienced trader/investor to recommend any books publicly .

At that point in time , I just stated my personal views as a beginner after the first glimpse of the ebook . If I had imagined that I would later on be quoted , I would not have put that up ! Since than many developments had occured .

You shouldn't have quoted me for the ebook! I don't want to be a party to this ... hope u understand .. :  )

Somehow I feel this shouldn't have occured.

Try some other marketing startegy to promote the ebook ...hahaha !

We shall put this to rest amicably , shall we ?

Hi Count_Lusting:

Think you've misunderstood; as yet, I have not lost 13K (at least, I think).  In fact, we are in the same KC boat.  Still holding KC and refuse to sell any today despite a small profit.  (On a green day when the opening price is $10.30?  I ain't selling it for anything less than $10.30.  I am aware that tomorrows may be red.  Aiya, let the durian men sell to each other).

Sorry to hear about your arguments esp when the relationship is serious.  Are you saying that your in-laws want you to get marry soon so to help you avoid your present family burden?  Were you planning to live with them or on your own?  (If you don't want to talk about it, pls don't feel obligated to reply).

Count_Lustig, I'm really sorry to hear your story. But I also think it will blow over lah... give it a week or so and talk to you girlfriend again. People always say things that they regret later on when angry.

Those who have lost a lot of money can definitely afford to get "The Genie Tutorials" (click to see). Within it are teachings to avoid big losses....

Can't contain my excitement !

I want to say a very big thank you to Manikamaniko for giving me the final push to get into Stock Market Genie ! Also, I want to thank the kind soul who made it possible to look into it !

I just browsed through randomly chap 1 and chap 7 of the ebook to get a feel and I am bowled over !

All that ' bits and pieces ' I have been gathering from various sources, websites and articles on TA seems to have been condensed/summarised/organised (from my point of view) in there. It is very easy to read, profound and casual .

I am looking forward to reading it and like MAnikamaniko said , internalize it !

To quote Manikamaniko " I relish the contents with delight "

This Genie is my very first proper textbook in TA. I am humbled by the proverb " If the student is ready ,the teacher apperars !"

" Just one new distinction or clarification can make all the difference ." ..SMG

Once again, thank you very much Manikamaniko and the kind soul.

Hi OneSharer, I'm sorry to hear about yr loss. Have u cash out of the market already? if not, as wat AK said before, we can be like durian sellers and come out another day. I lost $3K on KC shares, still holding on. But looks like next few days will favour nicky and gang instead.  Smiley no hard feelings.

At least u still have your love, am sure she's worth countless times more than $13K

I had a confrontation with my potential in-laws on 2nd day of CNY, big quarrel with her on 3rd day and broke up on 4th day. Coz the former told me in full view of their relatives (was at her house) to get marry their only child asap so that I can 'siam' living with my mother and leave the heavy gunny sacks to my elder bro. In their own words, "to cut the apron strings". I told them they're not looking for a son-in-law but a daughter-in-law instead, which I am not and dont intend to be.  No more valentine's day for me.

Correction, not "contra" but "margin".

 Forgot to say:

Do enjoy your Valentine's Day -- tomorrow is a new day!

Wow, idesa168, those roses were really quick & creative -- been using that a lot on young gals in the past, uh?  Ha!

Scotty:   Unless doing contra, could have kept SGX for the good days and minimise losses?
It's alright not to have roses.  However, able to part $13K in mkt & not a few red rose dollars may be another story.  (Be prepared...w/ the explanation).

Scotty... :)

If you had sold on the rallies for SGX, you would have made quite a bit...

But I would suggest it is better for you to do some serious simple TA pattern recognition work if you intend to continue playing the market...

Warren Buffets theory:- 'till death do us apart'.

I find it quite true for most of my counters. At least not considered lost if not sold.

Which counter was it?

Did you do technical trading yourself or based on tips?

Lot a lot of money in the stock market. I got caught again 2 weeks ago in the pre CNY crash. Lost another $5000.

Add that to the $8000 I lost in December, that is around $13K.

I think I will send e-card instead for VD day.... Smiley
