Japan Land surged on a takeover bid from property tycoon Oei Hong Leong. Japan Land rose to a high of $0.68, 13.3 percent higher than Oei's offer price of $0.60 a share for the shares he does not already own. This was a 9% premium over Japan Land's last traded share price of $0.55 on Wednesday and values the firm at about $78 million. The takeover bid was made through Oei's majority-owned unit International Capital Investment. Oei owns 4.01% of Japan Land.

This counter was doing fine after the share consolidation 2 months back. And then it fell below it's $1.20 post consolidation price and never recover. A bit disappointed with the management, who is not so shareholder-friendly. Nothing is heard or announced for some time now. Anyone knows when is their next reporting?
