You're rite 'cos of The Market's valuation of LMA and not 'cos of LMA's NAV!

If the share px of LMA is directly related to USD, then the falling USD should in fact adjust upward the px of LMA to reflect the actual trading px as you now need less SGD to buy USD!!!! Therefore, the falling USD may not have too much impact on the falling share px of LMA. It is MR Market's valuation prevailing at that time!!!!  BTW, how soon could soon be????? Or it is just one 2moro after another????? Cheers!

I am proven right! Last traded price 23c!

With USD dropping, this bloody LMA should hit S$0.20 soon.

USD0.15 is the Book Valuation LMA and it is only a rough guide of the NAV of the Company. The more apt valuation of LMA should be 'The Market Valuation' which is different from the Accounting Valuations. Cheers!

Be patient .... will drop back to 24.5c, or even lower !! NAV only US$0.15 giving only S$0.21 at best. If give discount, then ..... company shares cheap cheap at S$0.15 ?!?!

Haha...that makes the Market interesting isn't it? One Fund sells another buys. Be on the Buy-Side or the Sell-side......right side or wrong side? You're only right when the Market agree with you and vice versa! As a Retail Investor it is best to ignore such 'noise' and act according to your own judgement based on your own data. Cheers!

Don't bother with this company. This is a hopeless one. Use your money better on others. Even at such depressed prices, neither the Directors nor LMA itself sees it worthwhile to buy back the shares though it has mandate. Speaks volume of their own confidence of the company. No?

Credit Suisse lowered price target for LMA to $0.37 from $0.45; keeps stock at Neutral. Broker says company's 4Q operating performance was "slightly weaker than expected," as a result of higher-than-expected selling, general and admin expenses; has cut earnings forecasts for FY08, FY09 to reflect this. Adds, "profitability is expected to continue to be affected by aggressive competition, the company's investments in human resources and marketing and litigation costs."

Right on ten4one....doesn't meant the actual price will reflect correctly in accordance to the profitability of a company....there are too many variables affecting the up and down of the share price....

The share price of a Company depends on the Market and it doesn't matter how much the Company is really worth. If Mr Bear thinks LMA is worth less than 0.265c then he would sell-off at this price or higher. On the other hand, if Mr Bull thinks LMA is worth at least 0.35c, then he would accumulate at 0.265c or lower. That is why the Stock Market is so very interesting. And don't forget, sometimes sentiments could randomly push the share pxs up or down without any rhymes and reasons! Cheers!

jack, it is not UBS's darling. They're buying on behalf of Clients.

At .265c is indeed an attractive px to accumulate for the LONGTERM. To be fair I'm looking at 1 year in order to see some Good Results. Hopefully, in another year they announce their 1st ever dividends payout - if not, at least let Investors know why they're not paying dividends! Cheers!

It didn't drop immediately the next day, but now close to my target of 0.265... well, if you want to buy for dead cat rebound, time is now, as from now until the next quarter results announcement is another 3 months away, should be able to head to 0.34.

stewartgoh, read carefully, its much worse than that..

The 4Q 2007 net income decreased 54% ! Full year 2007 net income decreased 43.6%

You will see a sharp price drop tomorrow... may drop to 0.265... UBS might purchase some shares tomorrow...
