Trying to be kei kiang.
This is a boring counter. Going to see the bottom and start consolidation.
Long-term wise, downtrend since May last year.
Short-term, would not perform as yet.
I got this from my taxi-driver friends... they can afford to travel, they live comfortably... it's about doing real work, ie as a taxi driver, and not taking breaks, long meal hours, naps, waiting at queues... so if you do your job well as a taxi driver, you can make a decent living... so according to them, it's really about how hard/honest you wanna work...

Anyone bought it at $1.33 yesterday? You must be a champion if you do. I saw it at v. oversold region but just couldn't get myself to key in the numbers.

In the article, based on the company's figures, the taxi drivers are taking in $318 per day minus $150 per day (for rental & diesel), the nett amount is $168 per day.
1 month (30 days), the taxi drivers will take home $5,040 per month....wow, not bad! Better go and take the taxi license
singaporegal.....this type of news, take it with a pinch of salt or pepper or sugar (whatever you prefer..hehehe). They just want to justify their action. Don't think the taxi drivers are better off.

Minister says that Taxi rate hike actually improved taxi drivers' earnings. But from talking to some taxi drivers, they say that they lost about 30% income on average.
look like more ppl will take public transport with the bear market.....SMRT and SBS stock should benefit????

what it means is SBS and SMRT could not schedule their buses properly...now the LTA is taking back that role.
With the new revamp bus's services, its going to be a hard earn days for Takxi driver oh. But its not the end of the world, look bright ahead. Cheers.
With taxi driver earnings in Singapore dropping like mad due to the unreasonable price hike, I'm sure this counter's TP is worth even lower than $1.64 !
JP Morgan downgraded it to "Neutral" with a lower TP of $1.64
This counter has been on a downtrend since October.
This is a hopeless counter. Much sicker than SMRT.
Though it would consolidate in this coming week.
Not sure what would happen after that.
Hope so..as i am still buying.
