i closed my account with poems of 13 yrs (kinetic member) due to poor customer service by the reward team. And I discovered iOCBC. I would say quite good and has more user friendly features for retail investors...eg. calculating the cost of trade when submitting the orders.. etc. Discover yourself..

Do you intend to sign up with e-trade?

Is their trading interface as good as POEMS's?

Does anyone know which trading platform supports pda smartphone so that we can trade outside office without a pc or laptop? Doesnt need data streaming.  I know POEM internet mobile is possible but I thot it's better to have >1 trading account esp since POEM always fail. thks.

I used more than 1 trading portals, ocbc trading portal is not stable. I think they had most downtime compared to other, I heard the technology they used is different from other in one of the article, maybe the technology they used has full of bugs or the IT department is not up to standard.

POEMS sucks big time. The trading team is not helpful and cannot be reached at the MOST critical time.  Hope E-Trade can create such a big bang with good features and support.  All investors will flock and  trade through them.  Down with POEMS.

KH and Vickers has latest news and headline. Not sure is that the market depth you mentioned.

Vickers also has their own TA chart and tools, whereas KH and limtan use the same source.

I use a lot of Limtan bcos there is rebate in commission. So I'm paying slightly lesser for every trade.

I think all 3 have completed trade email alert. KH has price target alert.

Oh ya, Citibank brokage charge only $22 (min) for commission as compared to $25 for everybody else.

Nothing is free, brother & sister. All market depth features need to redeem with points or pay $$$ !

The only free lunch I heard in Singapore is a buddhist organisation "Khoo Su Lin" near Kim Yam Rd, they used to provide free lunch everyday without failed. I have eaten once, of course I also donate there la ! Ha ! Ha ! No offend, just for a laught, nothing is free la !

Gohdirect. However, also has "time expired" feature if you are away for a while. On the whole, smooth sailing as well.

I'm using UOB KH, Limtan, Vickers and Philip Cap.

Well, Vickers problem is, it has a time out. So will have to log in again if I walk away for coffee break.

KH and Limtan is rather slow in logging in, maybe due to high volume of ppl using. But after logged in, the usage is smooth sailing.
