everyday when i see this counter in my portfolio, i feel numb... cos i bought it at 0.505.. don't know whether to cry or laugh..
if current market don't improve, it will dip below .10 cts leow. AK view only.
Somehow, looking at the top 10 volume, Jade is still hot favourite. Any view on what is the fair price for this counter despite of delay in production??

Straits Times June 27, 2008 (Friday). Jade faces setback in coal deal as ore extraction delayed.
Jade President reassuring word. From Sam Cheong Keen gone to meet various parties in Indonesia...(oni after problem start brewing....on their ground ?). Question is such job been dedicated to..... has not materialize as anticipated by....so a delay is still a delay, end year another promise..Ya.

cheap thing may not be good. looking at today's BT, Dayen's Indon coal mining deal hits snag??? could such incidence affect the price indirectly?? just wondering!!
Ever wonder why so many placement shares are issued to private investors at such a low price - 7.2cts which is a huge discount to current market valuation of 11-12cts. Even they are not so confident about Jade's prospect and required a big margin of safety to protect their interest. That said, is the current price worth going into this counter?
Well sure, Jade said it had permits to conduct its coal mining business with billions worth of coal (which is still grey as of now) but there are also many other listed coal mining business with credible projects, expert management and track records over years. So what makes Jade so special? If we compare Jade against other mining companies, does Jade have any competitive edge or it is better to vest in these other mining companies instead? Just my few cents.
confidence level alrdy dropped after the Tamasick law suit over the other side of the island. suda da pakai is the common term used nowadays. the small rocky piece of land is another typical example lately.
Jade Technologies jumped after it confirmed it had the licenses for a coal mining project in Indonesia.
In a statement, the firm confirmed it had the required regulatory permits and licenses for its coal mining project in West Sumatra, Indonesia.
The Business Times reported on Tue an Indonesian government official said Jade Technologies did not have the required licence for the Indonesian project.
A pledged shares, in this case to Fail Opes prime Australia Broker, (obvious to me that is a guarantee for something), in turn is pledged to Merrill for another loan...?. Which Merrill has legal title. so he knew, so now he 1 2.....???, more ??? mark.
It's clear cut case.....He borrow money and try to get back his money even w/o having to pay back, dun say pay up interest rate own. He now 1 2 vindicate himself....will the lawsuit provides the ideal avenue?. or will he face more CAD style problem in Australia once it start digging into his business dealing history on top of Jade problem.

Taking legal step helped ex-Jade boss show good faith...But a closing look at the claim filed in Sydney - the 1st full veraion of events told from Dr Antionio Soh's point of view - raised some nagging questions.
While the claim outlined how Dr Soh believed (in himself) he retained owner-ship of Jade shares. It did not answer the question many people have been asking: Many also had criticised OCBC for confirming that Dr Soh had sufficient resources to complete the deal when his (Dr Soh) financial position emerged very rocky. ??? Y then everyone still kept quite?. (A case of trying a save a sinking boat from sinking). Will this help stop CAD going after him?.
Why delay telling the investing public that his stock had been pledge?.
thats old trick loh. how to sue??? dragging for long court care to let the initial issue to subside and be forgotten???
ha ha, remember our big brother, swindering m of tax payers' $ but only go for belated jail term for 8 weeks, with 1/3 compassionate discount most likely, ah. unlike the initial spark, now who care leow???
