Kepcorp, still keeping, no news fr it yet though AGM is on coming Fri.

Just Q buy and sell Kepland 10bids diff. Q sell SPC 10 bids higher.

Wanted to technical naked shorting Kepcorp but it seem no more strength to move leow. As brokage is high, don't worth to take the efforts. Ventures n SGX though are potential shorting list, with the same reason, don't touch them first.

 

 

KepLand, which derives the bulk of its income selling apartments in Asian countries including Singapore, China, Vietnam, and India, earned $60.3 million (US$44.77 million) in the three months to end-March, down from $62.5 million reported a year ago.

The developer, 53 per cent-owned by conglomerate Keppel Corp, said this week that it secured an option to develop a 1,500 unit residential project in Vietnam costing US$390 million. -- REUTERS

May see selling before XD. But AK will keep Kepcorp till XD then decide leow. As for Kepland, kena by it since around CNY, still holding and not breaking even yet. However, my dump half of them to cut loss when near XD. Not optimistic on this couner leow, may consider to sw counter.

 

Sold my KC already. It's getting tricky at $12.

For simplicity, good and strong coy are cash rich(huge market captital, low PE ratio), earn good money every yr(pay good div, best 2 times per yr). Few of the component stocks listed are examples. We hv a lot of sifus here, their views are much better.

Scorps, one of our sifu stated in the earlier post, as far as you hold  the share after 17.06hrs a day before XD, you are entitled the 55 cts div.

AGM is this coming Fri, 14.25hrs. XD is 29 Apr.

For good coy, use 50%-60% as variant. On the otherhand, if that coy had been pushed up dramatically, then you hv to increase the variant even to 100% leow. AK home made formula, may not be applicable to other families.

 

Questions :

1. What happens if one picks up KepCorp on Contra  with CD and then sells it after XD. Are you still entitled to the 64c dividend.

2. Any predictions on the stock price after XD.

In essence , is it worth speculating on!

Perhaps I better clarify my last post.

FY07 divvy is a bumper payout (64c) of almost 100% of KCL's eps of 64.9c. This is to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Normally, KCI does not payout this level of eps.

 

kate, if feeling a bit uneasy to buy long, then short loh. Long make $, Short also can make $... depends on market loh. As usual, long or short at own risk.

Ayo yo, market closed leow lah. Just look at the last done price, forget the Sell n Buy, they are intentionally placed by SGX. A pseudo price.
