Information can be found on www.bbr.com.sg under SIAS report.

Regarding shareholders selling, well they controlled bulk of shares and need to provide liquidity and also out of fear as they are not traders so might as well take some money off the table and still got lots of shares left.

Regarding property sales slowing down, yes but that does not mean the price went down! Ggenerally withdrawal of Deferred payment curb speculators but Nassim Hill is even more expensive than before. Also I been eyeing a property and instead of price coming down, it went up instead. Sigh!

Good news thought! BBR got the contract for tunneling work worth $189m. Check out at SGX.com. I am very bullish about this counter just like how I am bullish about Lian Beng and Tat Hong. Vested in all 3 counters.

Hi ninjaturtle,

I am pretty convinced by your analysis. However I hope that you can be generous enough to share your opinion on my concern below.

1) What is your estimated EPS for the upcoming financial report? Does your calculations include increase in cost due to higher material cost, labour and transportations?

2) There were some selling by substantial shareholder in Sept. What is your opinion on this?

3) "Property sales set for big drop in Q4....Early numbers show Q4 private property deals at $2.9b, nowhere near Q3's $15.6b"
The above headline was from Business Times. What is the likely impact on BBR?

yup, i was very upset that it did went down to 8cents as Nassim Hill is almost completed with the sale of all units except for 5 units. Furthermore, BBR is also tendering for a good number of projects and may get them due to the specialised engineering capabilities. But such is the stock market, the trend is your friend. I can only console myself that when BBR eventually hit beyond 30cents, I made a right decision. When BBR do hit 50cents if my calculations of their profits are right in 2008 ie. >$30million, my job will be my hobby. Meanwhile, bite the damn bullet!

nobody talking about BBR so I presume most who were holding may have sold off at a loss. My average price holding of BBR is currently at 10.5cents after I re-entered to buy. So paper losses. My other counters are doing ok especially Tat Hong but i still believe BBR will give me my greatest yield. Spend a lot of time researching into this counter. All I can say to those holding on that more good news will come up soon for this counter, if you can just wait till end december.

BBR is an opportunistic stock. I trade all my stocks except BBR as it is the stock which I have visibility ie. 2 new properties launches coming up. Annoucement either in Nov or Dec regarding the completion of sale of nassim hill and Holland Rd launch in April next year. So, got to be patient with this stock as it will surely shoot past 20cents at least, maybe gunning for 30cents even. For trading, I would recommend Tat Hong, there is liquidity and it is a fundamentally sound stock.

mazimaz10, what makes you think acc at 10.5¢. I have been observing this fellow for 2 weeks already and everyday, the selling is by thousands, and not much buying up. This makes me think is this consolidation or distribution? If it's the latter, then it's bad.....alamakmummy, if you had taken position at 18¢ which was actually near to the recent high of 19¢, I guess you just have to hold thru and pray that they annouce good news soon. Then when it goes up to 14-15¢, you can consider cut loss - provided you do not need the $$ for daily marketing now. I had look thru the 15 years historical price and they tend to have a habit / or coincidence of surging in Jan and Feb every year, apart from 2003 and 2004 which were bad year. For those who do not know about BBR in the past, they reached 65¢ in 1999 during the last construction boom before going down to 1¢ in 2003. I think many had died then. Now the current construction boom, I think 20¢ we are asking is not demanding at all. This is just my view.
