I was hoping to collect later when dust settle....for better dividend play...happi that my forecasts has some truth in it

Citigroup, DBS and OCBC are the joint global co-ordinators. Religare Capital and UOB are co-mgrs. (strong mgr lehh, mkt timing -wrong)

Possible reason - IPOs recently performance - With most recent successful listing of both SPH Reit n OUE H-Trust. Only SPH Reit gave a reasonable short term return, while OUE H-Trust, short term performance is just short of expectation.

Placement Tranche of 524,032,000 Units resulted in the Placement Tranche being oversubscribed.

At the closed of public offer, there were 10,093 valid applications for 337,009,000 Units. Based on 62,500,000 Units available  for  public subscription, the Public Offer was approximately 5.4 times subscribed.

Assuming  Oni - Soilbuild REIT on fair trading range, a yield of 7% -  7.5%, fair value will be  about 0.78c  - 0.83c, if use price to bk of 1.0x  - 1.1x,  trading value will range between 0.80c to $0.88c.

Malaysian tycoon Vincent Tan has appointed several lenders, including UBS and Maybank Investment Bank, to manage an initial public offering of his 7-Eleven stores in M'sia that could raise up to US$200 million (S$254 million), the Dow Jones news agency cited people with knowledge of the process as saying.

Mr Tan has been looking to sell up to 49% in 7-11 (M'sia) and was exploring either an IPO or direct stake sale, one of the people said. The tycoon has opted for a public offer to unlock value.


While the exact deal size and timing are yet to be confirmed, the IPO could value the company as much as US$800 mil and take place later this year or next year.

According to Reuters report, Chinese technology giant Tencent Holdings Ltd is planning to list its popular messaging app Weixin, or WeChat, as a spinoff company in Singapore, as told by the official China Daily on Tuesday, citing an unnamed source.

Officials at Tencent were not immediately available for comment.

The source told the official paper that Hong Kong-listed Tencent had opened an office in Singapore to deal with the listing, which it had originally planned to hold in Hong Kong.

Soilbuild Grp Holdings, REIT is offering 586.5 mil units at a price range of $0.77-S$0.80 per unit, which translates to forecast dividend yields of 7.3-7.6% for 2013 and 7.5-7.8% for 2014.

Institutional tranche  - 499 mil units  & public offer -  87.5 mil units. There is an overallotment option of 56.3 mil units, or 9.6% of the total offer. There is no cornerstone tranche.

Bookbuilding will be conducted from July 31 to Aug 6  & listing targeted for Aug 16, according to IFR, a Thomson Reuters publication.

Citigroup, DBS and OCBC are the joint global co-ordinators. Religare Capital and UOB are co-mgrs.

Today published in ST invest, page -33 " What to look out up in IPO prospectus" Sundaytimes take a look on five areas to focus on, to suss out if an offering will be a dud or a star performer.

Just re-freshing and taking a look.  A guide to applying for local  IPOs. 

IPO fever, do your financial homework 1st to avoid getting burnt.

Prospectus (managing risk & don get caught investing blindly, an understanding the value of investing).

Financial ratios (Look for px to PE ratio, px to NTA value, dividend policy, gross, net profit margins & returns on equity).

Usage of IPO proceeds (proceeds for working capital and expansion or be use to clear debt).

Market Sentiment (Bullish or none-bullish business enviroment on it IPO's listing).

Earnings track record (watch for past earning over last 2-3 years, no sudden record performance in sales and profits).

Pricing (a key indicator on share price performance. PER-lower ratio the better it share value the share price offers).

Strategy: Buy and hold, buy and sell or buy and stag ? (stagging-selling IPO shares on the 1st trading day).

Outlook for IPO market (25% more than in yr 2005, bullish 60 IPOs was listed in SGX, raised a mind-boggling $7.6 bil).

Got BBs supporting. BBs subscribed 5% or more. Credit Suisse n Toh Soon Huat (former Novena boss) to boost the prices on it first trade day to closed of at 0.430 cents or +40% premium from it offer IPO price of 0.300 cents.

MoneyMax launched its IPO today - the 2nd pawnbroker busuness to list here at $0.30 cents apiece. 2 million are earmarked for the public.
