Besides the speculative bravado nature of KK Foong, new CEO Sam Chong Kit, works for $1.00 per year + millions of share option at very low price. What do you think his focus will be? My personnal opinion, if I were in his shoes, I will churn the market to make the share go up as quickly a possible......my actions and decisions be based short term gains that will benefit me....and not the company or the minority shareholders.



In my many years involvement with the stock market, I cannot recall any company sacking it auditors for standing firm on their qualifying statements. This, to me is highly suspicious.



To those who still want the excitement of taking a punt, just hope you don't get caught 'when the music stops'.

agree man, change name but mgmt never change.. just take a look at interra resource and manhattan resources...



anyway who entered xpress yesterday? those that heed my suggestion to enter only when it brk abv 0.21 will be glad. those that enter at 0.19/5 will have limited lost if excercised.

 

All I can say is, trade with extreme cauiton........leopards don't change its spot, tigers don't change its stripes....don't be the unsuspecting mousedeer.

 

Xpress move as i estimated. hit top at 0.21 and now support at 0.19. however the sacking of its old auditor really worried me.. the selldown maybe due to this..

Result look good....but they sack their old auditors (Deloitte Touche) who made qualifying statements in favour of new a auditor who passed their acocunts..........hmmm.....??????

 

Good Signal i see. 2 way to play this counter.

1) enter at 0.195 or best 0.19 and sell half at 0.21/0.215

2) enter after it break abv 0.21 with volume

 

From FA point of view, good results out today.



Its full-year net profit surged 170% to $4.95 mln from a year ago, thanks to strong contributions from its newly acquired operations in China, Precise Media Group and Shenzhen Jiaxinda Printing Co Ltd. These units, which provide print solutions and related services in China, booked total net profit of $3.4 mln during the year. Revenue grew 38% yoy to $31.21 mln, while the net profit margin rose to 19.2% from 8.9% as the group benefitted from low-cost print facilities in China, Xpress said.



"The group is confident that its financial performance in year to September 2007 will improve upon that of fiscal 2006, underlying the strong growth prospects for its business in China," Xpress said in a statement.

I think its on an uptrend because about 2 weeks ago the technical indicators were indicating buy. And also probably because this stock was on yesterday's episode of public insight.

 

Looks to be on an uptrend now.
