Hi, actually the objective of this thread is to register the attendance for the 24th March and getting the feedback of the class after 24th march.

I hope this thread has a closing soon by end of 1st week of April, and I think it will be better we concentrate on other threads.

 

ed88ks, if you just help to manage friends account and there is nothing wrong with it, you also can call it Private Equity, very private :-D. yet make known to public and solicit capital is totally different issue. "No venture, no gain", haha.. why not play in China Mainland stock market? Opportunity always lies in most chaos situation.

thanks everyone for advise and warning, anyway i have written to MAS  to make some inquiry.

as for me nothing venture nothing gain.... worst is even not trying...

I totally agree with victorian.

I know a guy who was with a group doing with such activities. To cut the story short, when thing doing well making $ every ppl is ok and fine..... and when thing start to turn against and with a group of ppl (traders) all have different risk level, u will see all sort of thing pop out, is really not advisable. eventually i heard from my friends the group was disband.

not mentioning is against MAS...not worth it....

Nothing is concrete yet, it's just a proposal and it shall be very private if it is to operate

among a small group of ppl. There are many such fund or pooling of resouces that work on the private basis.

Be it speculating in houses or even coe. It only become illegal if it's activities are illegal or operate as a public holding. Anyway from here, we will not be posting more of it as Like basseerahmed say " SSShhhh ! not so loud in here ", haha .....

 

I totally agree with victorian.

I too felt very uneasy on the posting and felt like saying " SSShhhh ! not so loud in here "  Not that I am against it but should have been done a bit discreetly.

I have no idea of ur business proposals , but I think victorian's suggestion is worth considering.

I recall a forumer also wanted to start a similar fund.  Not sure if it has started and if so, how is it going ?  Probably Singaporegal and others can recall ?

 

Just had a very fruitful discussion with simon and we think that it's feasible to pool resources and operate likea fund on a private basis. We are exploring this further and hope to establish this private fund soon. Our target is too manage a 100K fund. for those who are interested , we may have a meeting soon to discuss the detail... The reason for this is to allow ourself to greater firepower and with simon abilities with the hope to achieve high return . Please email to me or simon if you ar interested....
