I am new here, why this stock is performing, pls visit the following link.

http://yahoo.reuters.com/news/articlehybrid.aspx?storyID=urn:newsml:reuters.com:20070403:MTFH30591_2007-04-03_06-00-46_JAK986&type=comktNews&rpc=44

There was once this stock drop to 1.04 than surge up to 1.4+ within 1 week. Genting is a bit high at this point of time, I think investor is getting out of genting, volume too high yesterday. Investor will get out of genting and goes for this stock after making money from genting.

Happy trading.

Net profit rose last year on firmer sales and after earnings rebounded after hefty one-off charges in 2005.

The net profit was ahead of analysts forecast of 625.64 billion rupiah according to Reuters Estimates while its revenue was slightly higher than a forecast of 21.13 trillion rupiah.

Last year the company suffered heavy foreign exchange losses on its dollar denominated debts, while it also had one-off charges from a currency swap contract and a premium paid on the redemption of its dollar denominated bonds.

"The company succeeded in achieving its highest growth in 13 years after successfully implementing some initiative strategies that we started in 2004," Anthony Salim, Indofood's president director, said in a statement.

Indofood said it is planning to issue rupiah denominated bonds in the second quarter of this year to reduce its foreign debt exposure and reduce the risk of exchange rate fluctuation. It did not provide further details on the bond plan.

The company, which has a market capitalisation of US$1.45 billion, has the capacity to produce more than 200 million packs of instant noodle per week. The world's 4th most populous nation, with 220 million people, consumes about 57 packs of instant noodle a year, lower than Korea, the top instant noodle consumer in terms of per capita intake, at around 70 packs.

Indonesia's Salim family controls Indofood through First Pacific, and Anthony Salim, the youngest son of the family's patriach, took over the helm in 2004 and restructured the company which was heavily in debt and suffering declining profits.

Indofood's operating margin improved slightly to 9% from 8.9% in the previous year. Its operating profit climbed 18.8% to 1.98 trillion rupiah.

Indofood's shares jumped 6.43% on Thursday to 1,490 rupiah. The results were announced after the market close.

(US$1=9,090 rupiah)

The company, controlled by Hong Kong's First Pacific Ltd, said sales revenue rose by around 17% to 21.94 trillion rupiah.

2 days back when China Energy move down towards $1.06, many probably cut off ..... but what's today's price ?

Today China Energy break out of $1.12, the high hit on 11/3/07 when it made an expansion breakout.

Quite coincidentally, IndoAgri hit a high of $1.40 on 12/3/07, then made a little consolidation towards $1.23.   Seems like it's creeping up, despite the zig-zag manner.

As long as it continue to make higher highs, it should continue to trend up.

And hopefully, a breakout of $1.40 ..... similarly to how China Energy break out of the $1.12.

Technically speaking .....
