To put XB into perspective:
Today's closing price of 4.08 is equivalent to 5.71 pre XB price.
This is effectively a 16 cts gain on yesterday's close of 5.55.
its extremely tempting to buy..............such a sharp drop in price
anyone buying today? 
if the ex date is on the 30th and rec. date at 3rd sept... which means on which date will the bonus shares appear in my portfolio?

Hi Elf, you may wish to check in the website www.sembcorpmarine.com.sg where it did not mention XB, but it states : Members whose securities accounts with the CDP are credited with shares at or before 5 pm on 3rd Sept 2007 will entitled to the Bonus shares under the Bonus Issue.
Forumers should not sell just because they may end up with odd lots. After bonus/rights shares have been issued, the 'odd' lot market will be quite active for a few trading days. Forumers can then sell or buy odd lots to make up proper lots.
Hi, thks for all yr kind replies. I understand that SembMarine is a very good Co that is why I am in a dilemia. If I am to sell now, I will definitely buy it back when the Bonus issue & price drop. My scenerio is very similar to "New Guy". That is why headache for me !!!

I sold mine bcos I have 2 lot only. I think I will get odds share for the bonus as I do not have 5 lot .I may need to sell at the odd share counter if they come out with one . The price will drop once it give out bonus ..
But on the other side this company earning is great .
Make your own judgement .. .
Hi Kerine,Keep the share and don't let go unless u need money urgently.There are not many co which had won contracts worth 8.6 billion.Just enjoy the bonus & its dividend.

Kindly advise is it better to sell the counter now & wait for the Bonus Share issue price drop then pick it back OR to hold on to it? Sincerely hope to receive some advice.Thanks

I read conflicting signs from the TA charts. This one doesn't seem to follow the Acc/Dist chart very well.
However, its MACD and Chaikin are doing pretty well.
