This infrastructure moving slowly and steadily up. I like the way it builds up its levels.

hi sgal,

You are more the analyst than the broker in the entertainment joke:)

Lest hope those who follow the analyst will not be too slow and miss the extra pennies. On the flipside, lest hope those who jump in too fast and too much will not go broke, like a reckless broker!:)

Typically, slow trending stocks, like suntec, MMP Reit and in this case MIIF, once they are on a distinct uptrend, - they tend  to hug their 5,10,20 days moving averages quite closely, and when they veer to far away from these 5,10 days moving averages, they will tend to trade sideways for a while, so that the moving averages catches up with the price movement, before moving up another leg.

An eg, right now is MMP reit - after hittting a high of 1.20 on 3 jan 07, it is now moving sideways, in the process probably froming a bullish flag, before the next upmove.

So for the case of  MIIF, it will probably trade sideways, and even fall back to 1.00, before gathering strength for the next upmove(hopefully). However, there is still a possibility of it clearing 1.04 sooner than later.

I think this stock is on  an uptrend. I like the fact that it is at 1.04, and I think that it will probably clear this level decisively next week or so - all it needs is a little bit more volume.

Also, if u look at the whole chart pattern from Jun 06 to now, it has bottom out at 0.81 cents level, and it has made succesive higher highs and higher lows, with all its moving averages 'regularised' - meaning that they are in proper sequence, ie 5, 10, 20, 50 100, 200, with 5 in front and 200 last.

In a nutshell....A Defensive stock.

When interest builds up, it's time for us to pocket profit;)

sama sama innoval. no one seems to be interested in macq in this forum?

vested at 0.995.

i like this counter 'cos high divvy yield (~$85 per lot). Its book value is 1.01, FA target: 1.21. FYE in march.

additional info: analysts don't really like it 'cos they think it's too diversified, so difficult to predict FA value for it, unlike its fellow reits. But this to me only means that it has less concentration exposure (to only one/a few areas), value is more constant and less susceptible to volatile swings.

kinda like the SMRT of the reits/prop industry.

yep, it's building up. :)

agree with shplayer. good stock fundamentally. unlikely to go broke, but more likely to break a way and a way, since it is in the infrastructure biz, eg energy and utilities reits.

Unlike other stocks, this stock does not gyrate too violently. It moves up 2-3 cts, comes down 1-2 cts.

Except in mid Feb when it reached a high of 1.03, it has spent most of its time in the sub 1.00 range..

It is more for divident play. Depending on purchase price, it give generous yield of between 8% to 9.7%...tax free.

However, I will be pleasantly surprised if it will 'burst' out of its starting block.

I am vested...mainly for its defensive nature and divident yield.

"topping up" can also mean a sign of consolidation/continuation and not necessarily a trend  reversal... :)  It really depends on whether a trendline exists there, in which case "topping out" could be a conclusion..

Topping up so soon? I thought it has just got set on the starting block, waitning for the burst to surge ahead.

A reasonable strong closing price. Moving up slowly but steadily.
