Indeed, good volume and still bullish. One interesting trend if you look at the chart is that this counter never rally more than 2 months. Looks like 1 month up, then another month profit taking and so on. Sometimes, the frequency is 1/2 month.
If that is the case, then June might be the month of profit taking. Not sure. Lets wait and see.
Oil price drop could also benefit this counter. Its utility business would have saved alot in fuel costs. Its rig-building capacity
taken up by confirmed orders all the way up to 2011 leow. Earnings for the next 3-4 yrs already secured. I think this
counter provide a good hedge.
As predicted, profit taking. But still quite bullish. Only the MAs are closing up slightly. No reason to panic. Only worry is if oil price drops, this counter might drop as well.
Managed to stay at 4.73 despite profit taking...

If DOW closed positive, tmr will be a good day...

Up! Last high was 4.83... Good luck to all who have invested...

beware of bull-trap ...
Any strong possibility of going above 5.0 soon?
Up!

Let monitor this counter for a week...

Looks like the BBs are done playing up SCI ....at least for the time being.

What is double tops?
BTW, Volume is quite high and looks quite bullish as well. However, short term indicator point to profit taking, medium term is still intact. Just my opinion only. I'm not sure why this counter is bullish in this kind of weak sentiments!
double top ???
Let see how it goes from here... Good luck to all who have invested...

Looks like Sempcorp is moving. Vol is also picking up. Anyone knows what's up apart from the oil rig order potential?
Buy and Hold / Market Timing strategies have their strengths. Buy and Hold usually will work for Blue Chips. My view only... Good luck to all who have vested...

Is it too late to buy now?
I half agree with you on this....but if you read my earlier post carefully, I was referring specifically to yesterday's price spike.......which is PRIMARILY due to Bloomberg's report.
As for the other half....SCI, is by no means in a monopolistic position.......they will still have to compete with other players....Hyflux, KIE, etc. However, they are in the running for sure.

There're more PUB big water projects in the pipelines ... akan datang... and SembCorp being the largest listed water player in Singapore would be first-in-line to grab more of those akan datang.
I believe yesterday's SCI's price spike is primarily due to the Bloomberg report.
PUB contract is old news and has already been factored in.
