Dear Elf,

Like bunbun said, don't get stressed on AG.  Nobody should blame anybody in forums.  Everything is open.  As long as one doesn't have any ill intention, there's nothing to feel bad about.  Do continue your hard work, which I'd really appreciate, and if you should analyze that there are some other stocks worth considering, do continue to recommend them.

Yea, I'm still holding onto my 160 lots of AG.  Will see what happens today after the Citigroup's positive call from AhBear.  Anyway, as I'd said in the Fellowship thread, I can still depend on its dividends in case of an overturn.  So, thanks very much for your concern.

Cheers.

elf, no need to stress over this. u are vested - you made your own call. others though vested coz of your posting, but ultimately, it is still their own decision to buy in or not.

duh! elfie, got it?

BROKER CALL - Singapore's Allgreen Properties target price raised - Citigroup
2/26/2007 3:31:00 PM

SINGAPORE (XFN-ASIA) - Citigroup said it has upgraded its target price for Allgreen Properties to 2.09 sgd per share from 1.65 sgd previously to factor in the bullish outlook for the residential property market as well as increased valuations for the group's office, serviced apartment and hotel properties.

Just like other developers, Citigroup said Allgreen is seeing strong demand for its residential project, with the Cairnhill Residences now fully sold at prices of up to 1,800 sgd per square foot.

"Apart from residential and office exposure, we believe Allgreen's serviced apartment is a primary beneficiary of the anticipated steep rise in rental rates for residential properties. Its 55 pct-owned Traders Hotel should also benefit from strong room rates and valuations," it said.

am actually confused on AG now. spent the past half hr reading its FA results report. the dang company certainly made it tricky to suss out actual value. >~<

as follows: EPS for '05 was 6.01c, for '06 was 7.19c. So if you take an average of 1.5 as last year's share price, it means PE ratio of 25x (20-31x was the range), meaning fair value this time appears to be 1.79.

But the '06 EPS was given without the dilution. the flipping dilution was 1.8 times in all (abt 1560 mil share cap vs 865k previously)--only revealed in the final pg of the dang report. Which means diluted value down at the best case ratio of 31x including div, is only ~1.28.

the thing i don't understand is this: its TA signals, and buy/sell volumes are still bullish, and bollies haven't broken out yet. all the signals are for a breakout UPWARDS. (and AG moves to TA trends, it's accurate on backtesting)

To give breakdown: total buy/sell data now (not just insti):

BU: 2165 lots via 78 buyers, ave size 27

SD: 1531 lots via 80 sellers, ave size 19 lots.

Gah. TA and FA contradict each other. we need an expert here. My opinion: watch the 9-9.15 am session very carefully.

l_tan888---you're holding onto 160 lots....if selling, perhaps split them up into 20 lots or less each time? it's more troublesome, but might ensure a faster sale, esp if you're doing it online....

Allgreen's earnings are out.  Nett profit only rose by a mediocre 13.67% to $88.160m.

Dividend declared (@4c less 18% tax) is almost similar to last year (@6c, less 20% tax), taking into consideration the enlarged shares floating in the market due to the rights issue in January 2007.  Date payable is 23 May 2007.  However, the nett dividend yield is lesser than last year's.

So, I'm not too hopeful for tomorrow's pricings for this stock.

Finally, there are some actions in AG.  121 lots buy up at 14:56 @ $1.71.  Another 219 lots buy up at 15:15 @ $1.72.

Let's hope there are some good results tonight.

yup. TA signs point to a breakout very soon.

bollinger bands are very tight for a long time leow

moving average crossover (9,20) also supports this.

for those looking to enter, can try queuing at between 1.67 and 1.69

Sorry, but I also only heard of DOJI since yesterday.  Anyway, I did a GOOGLE search and saved some websites indicating the use and explanation of DOJI Candlestick charts.  Will read them tomorrow when I have more time at work.

AhBear and Elf, maybe a GOOGLE search may also  enable both of you to have some ideas about DOJI.  But of course, to utilize its full potential, maybe have to pay and attend a course, like a session in Michael Woo's course is about.  But I didn't sign up for it yet:  $1,500 for a 5-month (2 hours weekly) course.

Sorry, no idea when AG results will be released.  But I guess it'll usually be at the end of the day after the markets are closed?

He said that even if one doesn't know much about charts, a serious investor must however, learn to read and analyze the DOJI Candlestick chart.  This provides very good indication of the pits and peaks of the trading trend.

Sorry, but I'm not very good at technical charts.  Just attended a Michael Woo's presentation preview yesterday, but he emphasizes more on the US Markets.  So didn't sign up for it.
