Does it mean I can't short by just having a CDP acc? Can I sell first (without owning any of its shares) and buy back later (at lower price of course) within same day? Is this considered naked short? I know very well it's high risk and we must fast-in-fast-out. Tks!

Is not that easy to play both hole.
Just like running naked across the battle field.
While U run, U feel the air, the wind, the naked comfort. So shoik :)
Every trader must be able to long and short..... Just like forex pairs..... Only when one can trade both way, one will not be play out by the BB easily.... But most important is to study yourself especially the emotion and come out with the customise strategy that suit you....

I already too busy for my main job (100% sure win)
Stock investing to me is just a hobby, if win i proud of myself, if lose i forget it very easily with a smile.
I already handle more than XX account. Wife(my PA), old parent, relative, close friend and close friend's friends trading acc. I not full time la but they like me.
When i wanted to return them their acc, some of them said just let me keep first, maybe got chance to use again. Headache, many times i log in wrong acc.
In this type of siao market, i never touch their acc for max safety, and their acc cannot short too. I die i die myself, i dont pull others down.

refer to gaoxian, hong xing, hong wei and those counters that got suspension. understand the shorting risk that comes with this type of trades. you have to decide whether you will be able to take it when you choose to short and the counter suddenly halt and then suspend.
i suggest u check several brokerage houses like philip,kim eng, ig, cimb..etc
and attend courses on CFD..
the best is to use practice acc and play for a few times until u are sure u wanna go into this dog-eat-dog / man-eat-man world..
if u know nth and still wanna play.. i suggest u meet up with warrenbegger and give him the $.. ask him to play for u

Shorting need more skill than long, and not anyhow pick and anyhow short then kanna shot.
Naked short is for dare evil, pls dont do it at home, kids pls dont try. Not careful wait kanna summom.
Naked short is when u know theres a elephant falling and fast in fast out when chance come. Naked short is gamble. I agreed.
Open a CFD account. Never naked short cause need to buy back same day or u will be fined.

I'm new in trading. May i know how short selling works? can i buyback the share on another trading day or must be the same day?
