STOCKS NEWS SINGAPORE-Index hits 5-year high, tracking Wall St
Singapore shares rose to their highest in more than five years
on Tuesday, tracking U.S. stock market which closed at a record
high in the previous session.
The Straits Times Index < .FTSTI> rose 0.6 percent to
3,382.93, the highest since January 2008.
The MSCI's broadest index of Asia-Pacific shares outside
Japan < .MIAPJ0000PUS> was up 1 percent, after the S& P 500 index
closed at an all-time high on Monday. [.N]
Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp, Singapore's
second-largest lender, traded flat at S$10.92, retreating from a
record high of S$11.07 last week. It reported a 16 percent fall
in first-quarter profit earlier in the day. [ID:nL3N0DG1GP]
Other banking shares rose to their highest since 2008.
Shares of United Overseas Bank Ltdmatched Monday's
five-year high of S$21.39, and DBS Group Holdings Ltd
rose to the highest since mid-2008.
" Banking shares are doing well, helped by expectation that
the Cyprus crisis may push some money to migrate from Europe to
Singapore," said a trader, who declined to be named.
Shares of Starhub Ltdhit a record high of S$4.76
and Singapore Telecommunications Ltdextended gains
for the second straight session.
Shares of Aussino Group Ltdjumped 7 percent to
S$0.107, recovering from a 40 percent slump in the previous
session after the Singapore Exchange rejected its application
for a S$70 million reverse takeover deal with a company linked
to a Myanmar tycoon who is on the U.S. sanction list.

旅 游 车 司 机 把 外 地 游 客 骗 到 智 化 寺 后 ， 导 游 带 着 游 客 去 见 大 师 ， 大 师 将 开 光 的 乌 木 佛 牌 和 乌 木 貔 貅 以 几 百 甚 至 上 万 元 的 价 格 卖 给 游 客 。 昨 天 ， 北 京 警 方 通 报 了 一 起 特 大 诈 骗 案 ， 抓 获 涉 案 嫌 疑 人 65名 。 团 伙 成 员 利 用 上 述 方 法 诈 骗 外 地 游 客 钱 财 ， 其 兜 售 的 乌 木 制 品 经 鉴 定 全 是 普 通 塑 料 制 品 。
一 段 时 间 以 来 ， 不 少 外 地 游 客 在 前 门 、 故 宫 、 长 城 等 地 遇 到 旅 游 车 司 机 宣 传 智 化 寺 这 一 景 点 ， 并 招 揽 游 客 。 游 客 上 车 后 ， 司 机 往 往 热 情 地 和 游 客 唠 家 常 ， 从 姓 名 、 年 龄 到 家 庭 情 况 都 在 聊 天 范 围 内 。
到 了 智 化 寺 后 ， 便 有 导 游 出 来 热 情 迎 接 ， 先 是 带 着 游 客 免 费 介 绍 寺 庙 的 历 史 和 建 筑 ， 言 语 间 透 露 在 智 化 寺 许 愿 很 灵 验 ， 并 将 大 师 引 荐 给 游 客 。 大 师 能 说 出 游 客 的 姓 名 、 年 龄 和 家 庭 情 况 ， 不 少 游 客 纷 纷 找 大 师 算 命 、 请 愿 、 消 灾 。 随 后 ， 大 师 便 开 始 兜 售 乌 木 貔 貅 或 乌 木 佛 牌 。 临 走 前 ， 大 师 还 会 特 意 叮 嘱 游 客 ， 宾 馆 里 有 晦 气 ， 请 回 去 的 佛 牌 要 到 回 老 家 后 或 一 个 月 后 才 能 打 开 摆 放 。 而 不 少 游 客 回 家 后 发 现 ， 请 回 家 的 乌 木 制 品 根 本 就 是 普 通 塑 料 。
近 来 ， 北 京 市 公 安 局 治 安 管 理 总 队 专 案 组 对 被 骗 事 主 进 行 了 走 访 取 证 。 专 案 组 还 将 从 智 化 寺 购 买 的 乌 木 佛 牌 、 乌 木 貔 貅 等 物 送 至 相 关 部 门 进 行 鉴 定 ， 经 鉴 定 其 主 材 均 为 塑 料 制 品 。
在 充 分 掌 握 诈 骗 团 伙 活 动 规 律 及 相 关 证 据 的 基 础 上 ， 北 京 警 方 开 展 统 一 抓 捕 行 动 ， 先 后 将 5名 主 犯 、 27名 团 伙 骨 干 以 及 33名 黑 旅 游 车 司 机 抓 捕 归 案 。 此 案 正 在 进 一 步 审 理 中 。
