synnexo, thanks your lucky star lah .....
Almost wanted to buy in at $13.30 last Friday. Today wanted to queue at $12.60. But withdrew as can't monitor (away from desk). Saw the last deal was more than 1.2m shares at $12.50 nearly fell off my chair. What next?
Elf, do you think that there is a possibility for SGX to retrace back??? Seems to be testing its low by the day. Worldwide indices in the RED worse the last minute sell off is a bulk transaction of 1.2m at $12.50.....
I am a newbie, can anyone advise if Technical trend indicates further drop ? it seems to have to dropped to the last correction low in Nov. Thanks in advance.
Agree with elf. Lower price does not mean well all the time. Trend is your friend.
$12 next target. wait and see. if you're playing long, may be better idea to hold off first. if drop below 12, run.

SINGAPORE, Dec 14 (Reuters) - Deutsche Bank has raised its
target price for shares of Singapore Exchange to
S$18.00 from S$7.50 and kept its "buy" rating on the stock,
citing a robust outlook for transaction turnover and the
possibilityof mergers and acquisitions in the industry.
"The Asian exchange consolidation theme, which helped drive
SGX''s share price up in 2007, may continue," said Deutsche Bank
analyst Michael Chang.
The investment bank also said that thedemutualization and
listing of the Korean stock exchange and the Tokyo stock exchange
may be consolidation triggers over the next few years.

Nicky, ever try contra + short ?? damn exciting leh!!
I made quite substantial amount on Buy and Sell SGX from Sep to end Oct. But lately look at SGX performance, esp last week and these two days, my advice is don't touch it. Cheers.
Ha, Ak_francis i dun see the rational for ur belief. FA looks at a projected cash flow stream not jus 1 month. TA factors in what the market feels and say regardin prospects of SGX. Adviced against imprintin ur guts feelings on the market
Agree with AK_Francis.
Dec is no good ground for SGX as likely the trade volume would be quite low due to most traders hv gone for holidays. Buy in after X'mas would be good. Cheers.
Best World, Ecowise and Abterra.
But I will exiting at short notice...
Mani what stocks do you have now?
Technically very ambiguous ... that breakout can be a deceptive one ...
This is one of my losing trades...I'm already stopped out.
