It started rallying since beginning June and beginning july, been above the 20, 100 and 200 EMA. Today's closing is a resistance point. Agree with cashiertan that it might pull back to ~$3 in next 2 days or so which is around close to the support and 20 ema line

Sifu is right...

That's why I said it's dangerous to rely on one's strong faith when dealing with

something as real as the stock market... Because of such faith, many refuse to

recognise they are themselves responsible for their own destruction... Smiley

i think those who commit suicide due to $ problems are those who lost all savings + huge debt those who lost savings  with no huge debt are less likely to kill themselves but may become depressed...

In the stock market, many have become rich by averaging down (which means buy more and more as it falls)...

But many have also committed suicide as they buy more and more and more as it falls and falls.

Whether they commit suicide or not all depends on how much they can tahan (ie. if they have money).

Buy in a prolonged major downtrending, even many  rich people have sufffered unrecoverable losses too... Smiley

At one time, I was thinking to offload it back at 2.90 just to lose on the commission, but after observing the morning volume on 2.93 and 2.94, I will choose to hold on and average when it drops further than 2.90. That will mean will accumulate more even if it drops to 2.85.

But please remember that all these are short to mid term basis and will need to let go during mini-wave and do not hold so many stocks at one time.
I will explain more on this.  Eg:  I am only  holding Capitaland and Wilmar for the short play mini wave basis. Though theirs still at BUY-IF signal based on the candlesticks, but would like to go in before it turns to BUY SIGNAL.

My only long term investment is CapitaMall which I always hold on to it even if it dives or what..and just sit back for dividend basis.

Out at 2.97 for Capitaland. Though Capitaland hasn't shown any sign of downtrend again, I would like to exit as would like to concentrate on Wilmar now and some other stocks that are in my radar soon..

Got in at 2.90 just now at 10.05am, and now it is on uptrend..but whether it is a temporary uptrend, I would need to check on the candlesticks signals as well as volume today..

Will keep posted..

Rally  can be more  like buying/selling  signals to me. Rallying downwards when the stock is diving or rallying upwards when the stock is flying..

Trend is like giving you hints there the stock is in which region or indicators, Eg: a stock that on overbought or oversold region, or Eg: Indicators based on technical parameters that the stocks have been on a zone that you can eventually start to think of buying or selling.. It doesn't indicates signals to buy or sell..

So, this is the different. A stock that on oversold region, doesn't mean that you can buy it as it could very well drop further and likewise..but it indicates to you that it is on this region which you can do some analyst whether to lock in or not..or vice versa..
