Description Further to the announcement made on 5 June 2007, the Board of Directors of Ban Joo & Company Limited (the "Company") wishes to update that Shanghai All-Points Investment Co., Ltd ("All-Points") has officially launched its paperless sale of welfare lottery business in Shanghai, the People's Republic of China. All-Points is the company to whom the WOFE (as defined in the MOU) which will become a subsidiary of the Company when set up after the execution and completion of the definitive agreement, will provide consultancy services pursuant to the terms of the MOU.

Meanwhile, the Company is still in the process of conducting the relevant due diligence investigations relating to the proposed transactions and working on the definitive agreements pursuant to the provisions of the MOU. The Company shall provide further updates regarding the status of the implementation of the MOU when appropriate.

Jasmen: i would view this announcement as positive. basically it has started to implement their strategy which is put words to action. it is not juz plain paper black ink sign but real action being done. wat i am more worried is something cropped in the middle of the implementation and derail the whole process :O

New Boss, New secretary and a new beginning as new BBs took over BJA, it has got to apply for delay of payment to old boss, old secretary and old hand who 1 2 get it over with ASAP, where $$$ in concern, it has got to be settle 1st and A/c need to be settle to reflect who is in charge, one of them is a vested institutional player. it also mean trading price will be within a tight range. When thing is settle, naturally price will move. It reminded me of it last EGM.  Just my tot.

MISCELLANEOUS :: COMPLETION OF THE PLACEMENT OF 145,000,000 NEW ORDINARY SHARES

(see sgx) shouls be sort of good news to all as finally all this un-finish thing is settle, bear in mind a matter of when BBs 1 2 further announce their futher committment to 2nd parts of their 1 of 2 story...coming 40ct ??.

Further to the announcements made on 6 November 2006, 18 May 2007 and 25 June 2007, the Board of Directors of Ban Joo & Company Limited (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the placement (the "Placement") of 145,000,000 new ordinary shares (the "Placement Shares") in the capital of the Company was completed on 29 June 2007, pursuant to which the Placement Shares were allotted and issued to Mr Chan Ewe Teik and Mr Ko Beng Soo.

The Placement Shares will be listed and quoted on the Official List of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited ("SGX-ST") with effect from 9:00am, 3 July 2007.

Following the issue of the Placement Shares, the total number of issued and paid-up ordinary shares of the Company has increased to 876,662,933 ordinary shares.

The approval in-principle of the SGX-ST is not to be taken as an indication of the merits of the Placement or the Placement Shares.

Today announcment the 145K shares will be given to that 3 investors and these new shares start trading tomolo 03 July 07. The total number of BanJoo shares will be increased. Tomolo will the price drop due to share dilution or interest as strong as ever to push it up since this niggling problem has been executed? 

 

Dun know it will 'ding dong' for how long...will it break the S$0.27 barrier on coming weeks...?
