In July, I estimated that the target price when reached yr 2008, should hit S$1.25. Seems it achived even in a shoter period, now is closing in at S$1.32 range. As this is the fruitful yr for CWT due to their investment in China, and heard it is going to Ukarain (spelling error) for some market rumour. Hope this will rise the share. The director Mr. Lok buy a lot range from S$0.7x to S$0.88 etc. It is gaining higher after the placement share of S$0.83. Good Luck.

Review of 2QFY07 results

·
Strong revenue growth of 61% in 2QFY07. Revenue rose to S$121.6m, propelled by increases from all business division.
1.
NVOCC business ? Revenue surged 36% to S$62m, fuelled mainly by the inclusion of the India and Spain network.
2.
Logistic business ? Revenue jumped 171% to S$44m, contributed mainly by:
§
Commodity logistics business with the acquisition of C&P Asia, a London Metals Exchange ("LME") approved warehouse. To date, there are only 12 approved warehousing players, out of which 4 are major players. C&P Asia is the only Asian major player certified to handle the logistics of LME.
§
Container logistics business with the acquisition of OCWS and Trident Districentre. CWT, one of Singapore's largest container deport operators with the ability to store and service all types of containers, increased its total container deport capacity to 20,000 TEUs,.
§
Chemical logistics with the launch of CWT Logistic Hub 1

Engineering business ? Revenue grew 29% to S$16m, contributed by Indeco Engineering which was acquired in Q1FY06.

·
Net profit margin increased to 7.1% in 2QFY07. The increase is mainly due to:
1.
Higher gross profit margins achieved for commodity and container logistics business
2.
Zero tax expense for share of profits from Dubai associated company
3.
Zero tax expense for amortized deferred gain from the sale and leaseback agreement entered in FY06 for CWT Distripark and Jurong Districentre.

CWT is a good share, but even a good share will drop as market sentiments is bad... No one has actually know where is the bottom... Even CWT has invested China, it is not definite that it will be a good investment??? or will it be a profitable one... With these morning increase and late drop shows that the market is still not stable and the worse is yet to come....

Andy, are you saying that: the price is that high and is possible to go that high again? Or averaging downwards, as it gives pretty good dividend?

A good share is to earn and invest.. I personally feel that one share should have it value after 13 good years... I don't think CWT has make it worth as it drop from $2.70 to 0.74... Eventhough the bonuses and rights given, you may still in a great losses of interests... So think of some shares that really give good returns and maintain it market values...

No one will know when is the rock bottom to enter ! You see, the lowest today hit S$0.655, now recovered to S$0.75, if you got the guts and are daring, then you make around S$0.095, some call this opportunity. I cannot answer you and I am still holding tight to my at average of S$0.89. Wish me some luck and hopefully by year end it can bound back, anyway, I hold this share for 11 yrs and every year got dividends. Good share can buy, if you buy now, it is cheaper than what I pay for !

Though still a growth company to me, I am afraid that judging from the market sentiments, it would be right to sell first.

Now, don't care about analysis predicted target price, nor even relay on good results, the market go by sentimental energy, this one no strength, but I will  still hold because it always gives good dividend plus saw good prospect from overseas investment potential !!!
