SGX functions mainly as a marketplace for listed shares.

( stocks and the company's business are two separate 'entities' ) ...

In the case of L&M, judicial management underway... but there's no news of late... Smiley

Sometimes, an "Oh!" company may trade at a fabulously high price (eg. unbelievably high PE  ratio).

(In primary school, my Chinese teacher told us a story in which a man was selling a wonderful product called "Oh!". There were a lot of buyers and his business boomed on the first day. But at the end of the day, many disatisfied customers came back to demand a refund. But the man ask them why, whereupon they said when they opened the matchbox they had bought, a fly flew away from it. The man asked them what happened after that. The customers said they exclaimed "Oh!".
The man then smiled and told them since he had sold them what they wanted, they had no right to ask for a refund. The unhappy customers then realised their own folly and each went away with heads drooping.)... Smiley

ok:)

But do you know why this company went down till today's price? The fundamental of the company not good or market sentiment?

But wont the company itself do something abt it?

Ya.. what to do...

In those days, I was a very staunch (ie. stubborn) "long-term investor"...

My buddy, who is a  remisier, was also a "hold until die" type of investor himself...

We have only ourselves to blame for any losses... Smiley

It can be very risky ...

I had a bad experience with L&M previously... I had bought 300 lots @ 0.85 (85c)...

It later went to 0.005!... then poop!... it's all gone!!!... just like that!!!

Back then, I had a 'long term investor' mentality, (though I was also trading commodity futures at that time, using nothing but TA).  But nowadays, I am just a short-term investor using TA as my 'gutsy' tool with stocks...

(Many will remember vividly how the media, analysts, etc, (BT, etc) had write-up pieces which brought that stock to the stratosphere) ... Smiley

I thot they originally had a MOU to go into property then it wasn't successful and then they release another MOU to go into coal mining firm? Maybe when the timeline is up, they will say it is not successful and release another MOU. Don't have much faith in this co. unless it proves me wrong.

I had holdings from 0.055 and also 0.02 but all still heavily loss making. the worst counter on my portfolio.

I think Digiland is venturing into property sector, it is waiting for the outcome at the end of this month.

Why do you want to buy and sell at the same price? If you do not have confident on this company, why do you buy it in the first place??
