Minor dip in US market last nite .... SGX should chiong today after yesterday's rest (profit taking) - with the IR award to be announced these 2 days! Another record attempt today?!

 

STI resting today in wait for IR award to be out this week ..... Need a minor rest before the big cheong back above 2,900 mark. Heehee!

Think US market will do some resting tonite too themslves with just oil stock data to be out at 2330hrs later. Maybe a stronger USD will lend a helping tonite?

 

Cashier... When you are holding a cheonging stock, it's normal you will want the index to keep charging up. But don't worry. Like I said, even if index is down, some counters will not be bothered , and keep pushing up a bit.

a minor but sufficient correction along the way is better than one big bang! It that happens, I believe many will go hybernate...

Think sporegal said she'll be away 2nd week Dec......i.e. end of this week or begining next wk. So, take comfort, she's still here to guide members on this blog for next 1-2 days.

 

Even of the main index is down there will be some candidates that will defy gravity and continue to inch up and up, if not cheong.   :)

Today's minor correction is expected after yesterday's solid performance.

Nothing to worry about except for news coming out of the US.

 

furthermore.. this dip is good at least it did not break from the areadi strong upward trend and keep within the pace. else STI will be facing accerelated correction.

too strong no good, too weak no good. current one is still ok..

 

hohoho.. STI fall as predicted even when DOW up yesterday,, finally i see STI following some TA sense...



anyway. .good time to buy those call Warrant, accumulate on weakness but not now..

 

yah. probably try to reach historic 3000 and fall back down to earth.

 

Let's see how record high STI can climb today after positive data on US economy and with US market closing GREEN last nite. Dow just 11 points now from its all time record close!!!

With IR result to be out this week .... STI should maintain its rally throughout. If the IR out this Friday, surely no weekend profit taking. Friday is 8th December (Fatt!!). And next week 12th December is the FOMC meeting some more. A surprising rate cut? .... Not this month though analysts expect one early next year.

 

Your small money will be better in control of the pricing then normal time.

 

If want to short, short during christmas where volume will be low as most agents are out for vacation.
