Railway aluminium extrusion maker Midas Holdings, once the poster child
for firms tapped into China’s high-speed growth, has issued yet another negative
profit guidance warning investors of an earnings decline ahead of its 2Q2012
results release on Aug 14. Midas attributes the expected poor performance to
lower sales as well as a significantly wider share of loss from its associated
company Nanjing SR Puzhen Rail Transport Co., which makes and sells metro
trains.
After such heavy run-up, the train will be taking a short break, at least for a while.. :)
If I really need to trade this stock, I will stay sideline first for the moment..

Midas is a stock highly recommended by a few stock houses sinces july,one with a target price .42,the other at .49.Besides,Business Times had a special write-up on it citing favourable factors in July as you quote.Remain very active for quite some time,BB buying?.It's not really a S-chip,according to report,it's a Sg company operates in PRC.Wondering how this latest negative profit guidance affects it.Believe that its future is bright,definitely will accumulate on dip,around .32 maybe.

Midas sold down a lot yesterday, only buy when it's about to turn again.
I agreed, maybe we think alike. I let go too because most of S-chip is reporting heavy loss Q after Q.
But lucky i still can hit and run to get back a bit of profit in between.

This few weeks i can see funny games in Midas.
R they playing shake away + collecting? I not too sure also.
Anyway i had places a bet at 0.280 too. If die lets die together la, at least not so lonely.

quite a lot of pple locked in profit at $0.365/0.370. based on TA, looks to have good upward momentum with resistance at 0.38/0.385. has not yet touched the upper band for Bollinger, so unless BBs short heavily, should continue to trend up. As usual, BOSAYOR & DYODD!
