but with isolator and friends (shortist), it may take a longer time. In actual fact, all are waiting

1) whether china will stop their tightening in 2nd half

2) whther the so called " valued home" works well with DD. As chinese still prefer better house. They may not like to stay at HDB .

3) If US stop the QE2, as they will, how much impact to the asia. If china could control the escape of funds.

4) 1st interest rate increase by the Fed, could show some tumble in equities, some how. But is a good sign it increase, as it show US is recovering. But i think they will stop the QE2 for a few months before ther increase the rate end 2011.

So, to see cpl to reach 4.00. i can say is it will. If everything is fine, good results, it will return to glory. Hold on till it reach 6.20 level. (2013maybe). sorry isolator, don blast me for that

do u aware that the chart u used has been used by all people in this world. But finding a value needs alot of time, months to research. Who can be sure the true intrs, value of CPL , Kepland and F@N. Analysts could provide only the ratios, but not the true value, cos if this is publish, imbalance will occur. As for chartist, they used the same formula. And sometimes u are contradict yrself, why must u understd the property cycle (FA) to short the market, as u follow the chart, disciplinely, as u mentioned. When yr chart says bearish- u short. If yr chart syas bullish now, and u know is the end of proiperty cycle, wht u going to do?  u makes me confused. I can tell u in this world, there is only traders and invetsor (no in-between) cos u look at the ss and i look at dd. there no inbetween

Only 5-10% of traders can survive in the markets.... I can considered the lucky one as I still survive after so many years... Actually from your post using " dangerous" , may sound that you do not understand TA at all...  You should learn TA for knowledge... You know your enemies in the markets use TA too. Know the enemy and you can have higher chance of winning in the markets... like in war strategy....

ya i agree, totally. That is the different from invetsor. Investor look for VALUE , and tader look for opportunity.. Path different. I find myself hard to short cos i may not sleep well. I find safer to park my money, and treat it grows. So long as the fundamental of the counter is fine. Thats why i holging CPL ever since it was 3.00 level, and even i bought at 4.06..level. My advise is- short ifu want but beaware that this counter has pontential to rise to its glory days . Imagine how it is at near$7/- when not much investment in china . Now it has more portfolio, has huge reserve (to withstand any shock) . That is why i buying . to me, company with huge sum of money WILL not go bankrupt (as for now) . If cycle change as u say, be with it. They will take approriate action, as what they did the last time. Just be careful, this counter will run, when is time, and i hope u can exit as fast when it comes. Shorting blue chips is the most dangerous job, unless u know the inside trades...

As a trader,  I am  either  longies and shorties... To me, this is very important in order to be trader for living...for life you know...  I too long CPL before, but taken profit... To me EXIT is the most important principle  for trading.... I can enter a wrong trade but still exit with profits... You may say BS... haha... but it is true... Anyway, everyone trade differently.. as long as it can meet your expectation, it is a good strategy... Gd luck!

but i don have that cos i holding it. Maybe paper lose... but not into the market... thats why i called very risky business for shorting, cos u do not owe any scripts, all are borrowed one. When times is up, price down, u earn, price up u loss. Better go casino, placed all yr money ( amnount u prepare to lose) and try yr luck. 1) better return cos it takes less than 2 min. 2) since u prepare to lose, u won feel pain 3) save yr time in posting argu with those against tr style...right???
