0341 GMT [Dow Jones] AusGroup (5GJ.SG) +2.4% at S$0.635 as stock catches up with other Singapore energy-related plays after trailing sector in past weeks. Stock +6.0% since beginning March vs +10.7% by FTSE ST Oil & Gas Index over same period, although gains so far this week comparable with peers at +4.2% vs +4.5% for oil & gas index. Resistance eyed at 150-day moving average, last at S$0.65. Newsflow since last quarterly results in February has been thin for engineering contractor servicing companies in natural resources industry. But analysts remain hopeful of pick up in order flows for AusGroup, which now has A$467 million orderbook. "We believe higher iron ore prices could accelerate capex spending in the mineral resource sector in Western Australia. Specialist construction service companies like Ausgroup should benefit," says CIMB, which has Outperform call with S$0.96 target; adds AusGroup now cheapest stock in Singapore offshore & marine sector on P/E, P/B basis following recent outperformance by peers. And...apologised everyone ..., correction as below which is my short term trading is NOT 3-5 days.
"someone wrote to me why Ausgroup not trending upwards as per my call. As what I have always mentioned, my short term is ________NOT 3-5days kind of things as in stock trading, there are something called Accumulation and Breakout which the BBs wont want the RP(Retail Investors) to know.. I will try to explain when I have time on my lesson or newsletters soon on my blog"
Well, the same person wrote to me on what counter can go for a short one 3-5 days kind of thing...
What I can say is if you really want super-high and fast in and out stock, definitely there are those stocks which you got to make a split second of choice on buying it.. which means money in and out at the same day.. Example, Z-Obee that I have made profit in less than 20mins...Novo Group which I didn't buy.. and for today, Uni-Asia that I detected on the signal during the price of 0.425/0.43 but I didn't get it at 0.43 to lock out at 0.44. For this type of case, you got to really buy high volume lots in bulk and out on time so that you won't stuck later when BBs have already out from the stock and also to reap the profit on the uptrend wave.
Anyway, for Ausgroup, I have lock-out half of my holding at 0.62 today to reap profit on this price but still holding on to half of the Ausgroup.
