Just wandering why anyone want to short this counter:-

1.This is a dividend yield stock.

2.Temasick is the major shareholder.

3.Price band movement very very narrow, 1-2 bid.

4.Even if you short or long, you can't make immediate money.

   Have a hold for sometime.

5.Notice no speculative play at all.

Above, my views only, caveat emptor.

Due to lack of trading experience, I've been an observer so far and IMHO, what I realise is most posts are after moves, not before. After moves means there is hardly anything left to catch, you end up on the tail end of a buy or sell. Nobody is obligated to surrender any trading knowledge, so for those who are trying to learn trading, just gotta be careful. This is afterall your money you are punting on, gain or loss.

I must say there are some very kind and unselfish folks around too, who share knowledge & experience with no expectation of the learners attending any course or brokerage introduction. :D

The different premium GLP and MapletreeInd Trust (current price against IPO offer price ) commands must be the difference between a Trust stock and a Corporate stock? Am I correct to say that?

GLP assets are mainly in China and Japan (thus there is a Yuan and Yen play) but MapletreeInd Trust all in Singapore.

No ones error but just how the market rate these two counters.
