I don't understand why you shareholders supported his earlier appointment and then now withdraw support again. He lost face. So a lesson learnt. Never give too much and then take away suddenly. Meritocracy must be applied sparingly...Hehehe.

If could afford to take up 5000 lots, he shouldn't be one to worry. Gambling is like this. Remember the guy Risktaker? He could win $200K in half a day and lose $400K back in one hour. This kind of thing is true one.
Unfortunately for many investors, the halt and suspension came as a surprise. Only some who have intuition would have sold or did not touch this counter. They can only wait and assess the situation for any future possibility of making a comeback.
Sometimes there may be a silver lining in the clouds, so who knows that a blessing in disguise could be happening and the rumour is a scam. Good luck.

Friend, no point to worry now. Money is worldly possessions. If $$$ really go to the drain, have to take it. We can still earn back. Health is most important.

Agreed. Confidence is the word. This is suppose to be a good move by the company.
Brief overview of what I thought. The suspension is indeed in the interests of shareholders and investors as the rumour of enormous amount of abalones if not true but allowed to spread around unverified will allow the shortists to short sell Oceanus until kingdom come.
Oceanus shareholders are very business oriented and do not tolerate nonsense, that is why they " sacked" previous CEO and recently the GM because they felt that top leaders should be seen as the pillars of the business and not wasting their time in the group sitting around just to sign cheques and lose money for the company. They need to be productive and lead the team well to build a profitable business. Any sluggishness would not be accepted, and the bottom line must be improved under their leadership.
However, the group still lacks the human side to deal with problems. When someone is sacked, make it fast and ensure sabotaging of the company's business is non existent. But of course, most people who have achieved high positions are reckoned honourable people being trusted as such and I think they are not likely to do underhanded things.
Believe the investigations will bring up the truth of the matter. Sorry for those vested, but there is hope and not to worry even if rumour becomes fact.
