well...hard to say...as general mkt is down...but i guess gotta wait till weak holders are shaken out by end of the week to tell the direction....unless some news regarding IR catering buzi that impact on this burger come out in more affirmative note....i thk will be sideway? :P

Seemed to me the support at $2.20 level is quite strong. Someone is collecting, I guess. Could it be Temasek?
Incidentally, is Temasek exempted from the disclosure requirements related to changes in shareholdings of substantial shareholders?

If 10 cents is the lowest dividend SATS will be paying out in the foreseeable future, it sounds reasonable. $2.22 for an yield of 4.5% - not bad isn't it?
Of course if one could get it at $2 per share, that will be great! Anyone willing to gamble for that 22 cents fall?

SATS SVC (SS) bought Spore Food Ind (SFI) at 93c (generous premium at the time of offer).....deal was completed early 2009. It was to bailout cash strapped 70% SFI owner Temasick. Subsequent GO enabled SS to delist SFI.
Since the acquisition, SS FY09 (YE 31Mar09) and 1Q10 (1Apr to 30Jun) results were propped up by the performance of SFI, which is relatively unaffected (SAF contracts, hospitals, abbatoirs) by the depressed aviation industry......
FY09 total div payout was 10c and FY08 was 14c......So far, 1Q10 eps is 3.7c. Expect FY10 div to be 11c to 12c........cos SS is now majority owned by Temasick and Mama needs $$$$.
Personnal opinion....caveat emptor.

wondering today will breach $2.30 or not ? since mkt generally down...this burger dropped so much shld generate some punting activities hor ? :D
