So, I think no matter what something means, it is good to tackle our our views with a detached and unbiased system (but not a belief system)... :)

 

the share suspended is due to money senistive, what is the meaning of this magic word money sensitive? If you guess right then the share will be according to your direction which you want to see. 

 

With no more IR project......SC will be short down.......

How if SH feel that there is no more Interest in SC and dump away all his shares.........SC will go under 10cents........

Hope your vesting in SC turns out fine for you.   Fear was instilled in SC investors who thought that SC would be battered to  "0" - those who bought as prices dip would be laughing all the way to the bank when it moves north after suspension.  Irrational to think that all those who bought at low and high prices were NOT genuine investors?  They must have done their homework.  Is it rational to think that Stanley Ho would invest in SC if it has entirely got NO chance or future to move beyond its recent peak prices?    SC has expanded its market to China - can't imagine  how much SC is going to profit as from 2007 from the huge China market.

U are just one of the rare breed die hard fan, consider taking profit on SC if U can, (jus my tot and is not w/o reason) and put some on Genting beco's on stronger notes. Genting can become a major index indicater year to come, on STI, very likely from year 2008 onward. Just for that reason plus major earning factor factoring in from that point in time, at this point in time i still think it is good time to vest as Genting has fallen from it height of $1.20, now trading at less then 0.90c, 70c-80c is consider a good px to invest as i consider that U are a alway's a die hard long term invester.

Just thinking a loud, still is to each it own, ur $$$, your Decision.

You are absolutely right... and that's only too human...

 

Sometimes it is hard to make rational decisions when they are 'difficult' decisions (losing money situation).  It takes a very disciplined person to sell off stocks in a downtrending market when they have been holding these same stocks during the good times. 

 

I suppose those who value "fundamentals" are the ones who are most staunch supporters of 'good' stocks. As a rule, one should not expect them to sell their stocks, since they will only go on 'defending' their stocks with good fundamental arguments.

But unfortunately, in a downtrending market, the only 'sound' (and rational) fundamental consideration is the trend.

Like you, I am still vested in SC :)  Hope with the news of GIL buy over in Resort World, SC will up tomorrow.

 

This discussion is incomplete with resident SC champion Hikitty's comments. Where are you, Hikitty?

 

I also read it as good news to star cruises, GIL is going to buy over 25% of SC so the prices have to be right which it more than what the SH is buying........therefore the SC prices will shoot up tomorrow....

Huh........ I just can't imagine the windfall that Star Cruises might get, would worth to move Star Cruises price protuding USD. 1.00 without any problem for sure!!!
