All great info stuff... all the  newbies never had it so good! ...  :)

 

Yes I understand that... but I thought that Singtel occupies a significant share of the STI. I guess it doesn't have that much of an effect after all!

I think STI is not purely make up of Singtel performance alone only correct? Imagine the performance of ONE single company is able to move up and down the index then won't it become very frightening? Someone may profit handsomely from such behavoir.

The index is comprising of blue chip stocks of every major industry and averaged out? So unless all the BIG companies in ALL the major industry prices slid down or rises up then we will see the index movement.

 

STI should increase alot today because Singtel chiong mah.... how come still quite flat?

 

The Index is still stagnant, and my stock is also stagnant ... wa, how to wait till 5pm?

I better go back again to  SPG's blog    to continue relaxing...  hehe... :)

 

i think STI increase due to ST plus Capitalland.

 

Today's STI  is just like yesterday.... very limp.... no OOoomph!!!  :)

 

There'll be no lack of "catalysts" at the appropriate time... :)

 

technically has to break and hold above 2900 firmly to cheong

 

Dow dip last nite due to lack of catalysts last nite, while Nasdaq down due to AAPL's delay of its iPhone .... Hence, STI should have its independent rally cos IR award to be out today! Shiok!

 

if it cant break than only way is down or turtle...

 

recently cleared but just staying at around 2900, be ware of centenarian effect.

 

why would anybody want to visit a starbucks in australia?  there are tons of more charming cafes here than that commercialized sh*t american chain store.
