Unless otherwise defined herein, terms defined or construed in the prospectus of New Century
Shipbuilding Limited dated April 30, 2010, have the same meaning and construction in this
announcement.
New Century Shipbuilding Limited (the "Company") wishes to announce that it has decided not to go ahead with its planned initial public offering ("IPO") on the SGX-ST at this time.
The Company intends to review the situation and will consider joining the SGX-ST at an appropriate
time in the near future.

Come on, be realistic, we all know it will not plunge such a heavy fall unless something like another quick economy burst such as Spain declare crisis, then panic sells and that is the right time to hope for S$1.1. And that is another opportunity that cannot missed. Please continue to hold and pls switch from Cosco to this one !
If Cosco is so good then why Tomasek only means to buy some back to remain at 5% for Cosco, they cannot afford to lost further. And all analyst state a Sell for Cosco at S$1.71. Maybe all this report all cannot believe and they want to buy back Cosco at S$1.71. Good Luck to all who hold Yangzijiang. |

Thanks thanks. Hmm, oversold! Theoretically, does that mean the no of units sold are more than available units? Hahha sorry ah, I am green when it comes to shares trading.

YZJ already anticipated this new competitor coming to grab his share. That was why YZJ was trying to divest into Rig Building on top of Ship building. It was the same as Kepelp Shipyard when the bought over FELS and went into Rig business. So if all the talks fail and the 15% stake in PP is being blocked by SM, chances is investor will see the price now in Over Priced. What more the global correction is a good time for shortist and investor alike to dump to wait for the second half where economy are said to be sobre.
